The Concentration provides students with a broad knowledge of e-Business management and a solid understanding of information systems auditing.
The Information Systems and e-Business Management (ISEM) Concentration of the BBA (Hons) Degree Programme meets the needs of e-Business revolution taken place in Hong Kong and the threats imposed by the ever-changing technology. Graduates will be equipped with the life-long learning ability to meet the changing needs of a society which is rapidly transforming into a services-led and knowledge-based economy.

Dear ISEMers, we would like to update you that ISEM is retitled to HKBU BBA Information Systems and Business Intelligence (ISBI), with effect from the 2020/21 intake.
The curriculum of ISBI concentration aims at enabling the students to acquire knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, digital commerce, Fintech, information systems, and information technology management. It also aims at facilitating the students to explore innovative business models and develop digital business startups. The students will learn cutting-edge theories, methodologies, and techniques that can be practically applied to different business environments. They will also explore the implementation of information and communication technologies in different organizations and gain practical working experience through internships. Moreover, they will have opportunities to gain international exposure and experience through studying on exchange at overseas universities.

When FIN meets TECH Youth Webinar
In response to the trend that more and more young people are interested in joining the industry, IFTA organized a new series of "When FIN meets TECH Youth Webinar" and invited speakers to share their opinions on the future development of the FinTech industry in Hong Kong.

[Welcome Back!]
We are happy to have two outstanding alumni, Dr. Tommy Chan (Assistant Professor, Northumbria University) and Dr. Zach Lee (Assistant Professor, Durham University) coming back to HKBU and conducting a sharing session with our PhD students.
Tommy graduated from our BBA HRM and PhD in ISEM. Zach graduated from our BBA ISEM and PhD in ISEM. After graduation, they pursue their academic careers in the UK.
