Andy Lau, Managing Director of FlightPro, had the privilege of being invited as one of the judges at CLITHK Student Day 2026, organised by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) in collaboration with Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK).
During the event, students from degree‑granting universities and tertiary institutions across Hong Kong and Macau presented their research cases anonymously to a professional judging panel.
The level of detail, creativity, and depth of research demonstrated by the students, especially under a tight preparation timeline, was truly impressive. Their ability to analyse real‑world logistics challenges and propose practical, innovative solutions highlights the strength and potential of the next generation entering the industry.
At FlightPro, as an Authorised Training Organisation, our mission has always been to teach, share knowledge, and promote continuous learning. Participating in this competition as a judge aligns perfectly with that purpose. It was inspiring to witness young minds tackling complex problems with such professionalism and passion.

Andy Lau, Managing Director of FlightPro, returned to his alma mater, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, to demonstrate the company’s drone‑based façade cleaning technology on the Jockey Club Innovation Tower and the Shaw Sports Complex.
For this showcase, the team performed high‑pressure spot cleaning using plain water only, without any detergent. The objective was to demonstrate capability, precision, and safety rather than conduct a full cleaning operation.
As a proud PolyU alumnus, Andy found it especially meaningful to bring cutting‑edge solutions back to the campus that helped shape his career. The demonstration reflects his ongoing commitment to advancing innovation in LAE, building maintenance, and safety.

A year has flown by, and once again it has been an incredible year for FlightPro. None of this would have been possible without our amazing team — your dedication is the reason for our continued success.

This year, we reached several important milestones. Together with Aerovision, we successfully completed the first phase of testing for the Sentry Drone System for Early Alert of GNSS Interference under the TLB LAE Sandbox Programme.

We also launched and completed the first FlightPro SUA Advanced Rating course incorporated into the undergraduate programme at UOWHK, equipping students with essential skills to work in the LAE field after graduation.

Despite the challenging weather throughout 2025, we delivered 10 SUA Advanced Rating courses to various organisations. More than 100 participants from government departments, educational institutions, and major transportation and infrastructure companies completed different types of SUA training with us.

We also secured HKCAD approval to conduct Aerial Cleaning operations in Hong Kong and successfully carried out several demonstrations at Cyberport. Commercial operations will begin soon under our new subsidiary, FlightPro Aerial Cleaning.

Looking ahead to 2026, we have even more exciting projects on the horizon — in Hong Kong, across the Greater Bay Area, and overseas. Stay tuned. We’re committed to bringing LAE technology closer to the public in ways you can see and experience.
