Happy Terrific Tuesday Everyone,
It is Debra here, your leadership expert for Introverted Career Women in leadership.
Happy National Introvert Week if I haven’t told you already. I hope you are doing extraordinary things to celebrate your brilliance. Just like Black history month, Women’s history month, and many other seemingly arbitrary things we celebrate, we must learn to honor ourselves regularly. And, before you formulate an opinion, hear me out.
Of course, we love to honor and reverence our history as African Americans and women, and shouldn’t we honor and celebrate every day? Our history should serve as a daily dose of inspiration to help us thrive as people, leaders, women, etc.
Moreover, it brings me to my current thought of acknowledging our brilliance and sharing with people we hold near and dear. To do that, we must create spaces that embrace every part of you and encourage your growth and well-being. 💃🏽
The 10 Qualities of a Uniquely Balanced Leader™ eBook discusses how to be a balanced, authentic leader. Authenticity is being whom you say you are and living that out loud. This is easier said than done, yet it is a must-have quality for leaders. How do we strengthen leaders in this area? 💪🏽 💪🏽
I firmly believe it is challenging to “become” a great leader alone. Finding a mentor or coach to provide guidance and support is imperative. Build the community, and they will come because we are not supposed to do this work alone. 👭🏽
The Uniquely Balanced Leader Academy is a space to learn and grow as a leader. Susan R. Appleton, Leadership and Communications Consultant and I have intentionally created a space to help you accelerate your success.
