Congratulations to all six of our teams on an outstanding championship. Every team broke into the knockout rounds, every team reached the Semifinals, three teams advanced to the Grand Finals, and our 18-and-Under pairing was crowned Champions.

Standing in Widener Library: Where the idea for See Change began.

Widener Library always has a way of stopping you in your tracks—built in memory of a Harvard graduate who was lost on the Titanic, whose family donated his collection to build one of the great learning hubs of the world.

Our founder, Rita Pang, spent years studying right here. It was in spaces like this that her love for learning really took off.

She started See Change to pass that exact drive on to the next generation.
We don't need to compete with AI; we need to learn how to thrive alongside it. That means building genuine talent: young people who know how to ask sharp questions, communicate their ideas clearly, and adapt to the future without losing their curiosity.

What a week at Harvard MUN China 2026!

After four days of intense debates and high-stakes committee sessions in Guangzhou, we’re thrilled to celebrate our delegation taking home 5 major individual awards:

The gavels have struck for the final time. SCMUN 2026 has officially concluded. 🌍🏛️

As we reflect on Day 7 and the entirety of this comprehensive 7-day leadership camp, we are deeply inspired by the remarkable transformation of our youth delegates. Over the course of the camp and the 2-Day Main Conference, we witnessed students evolve from hesitant speakers into confident diplomats. They navigated complex policy debates, forged strategic alliances, and demonstrated a profound capacity for critical thinking and global empathy.

To all our delegates: congratulations on an outstanding conference. Your growth, resilience, and dedication to excellence have been truly exceptional.

An event of this magnitude requires visionary collaboration. We extend our sincerest gratitude to our co-organiser, City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), for providing a world-class platform for our students. We also thank our distinguished guest speakers, the supportive parents and educators, and the tireless See Change Education and HKIEA organizing committees. Your collective commitment to youth empowerment made this event a resounding success.

Reflecting on a momentous Day 6 at SCMUN 2026: The commencement of our 2-Day Main Conference at City University of Hong Kong. 🌍

The energy at CityUHK’s Joseph Lee Hall was electric as we officially launched the conference with our "Wave to Play" ceremony. We had the profound honor of celebrating Hong Kong's visionary educators at the HKIEA Outstanding Teacher Awards, reminding us that great leaders are shaped by great teachers. 🏆👨‍

By the afternoon, the training wheels were fully off. Delegates stepped into their committees, delivered powerful opening speeches, and immediately began forming blocs to tackle complex global issues.

From the opening gavel to the intense negotiations of Session 2, Day 6 proved that our delegates didn't just come to participate—they came to lead. 🌍🔥

🔬Day 4 was packed with hands-on, experiential learning as students stepped beyond the classroom to explore diplomacy, science, innovation, and research!

🏛️ Morning: The Court Room Experience
Delegates traveled to Fanling for an immersive MUN courtroom simulation. Students learned by doing, questioning, and experiencing firsthand what it takes to defend a position and navigate complex negotiations under pressure.

🔬 Afternoon Spotlight: Play Explorer & Play Scholars
Back at the CityUHK campus, delegates dove into the real world of scientific discovery: Play Explorer: Students gained exclusive access to advanced university facilities, visiting the JCC Anatomy Teaching Laboratory, the JCC Necropsy Suite, and the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Health.

They also explored the Story of Ocean Giants and The Power of Play interactive exhibitions! Play Scholars (Masterclasses): CityUHK professors exposed students to real-world applications of emerging technologies and future career pathways. Delegates learned about Smart Materials and the sustainable "Smart Sponge" with Prof. Vincent KO, and explored the future of Robotics & AI with Prof. Clint HO.

📚 Evening: Going the Extra Mile
To cap off an already enriching day, SCMUN Secretary General Coach Nasir went the extra mile by hosting an additional evening Study Session! He provided extra guidance, coaching, and support to help students build confidence, sharpen their skills, and prepare to rock the 2-Day Main Conference ahead. Day 3 kept the momentum going as delegates leveled up their strategy and diplomacy skills across MUN and Debate Camps, while diving deeper into the real-world impact of our NextGen AI sessions. Afternoon Spotlight: Play Tech+ Media — Create in 3D, the Render Lab ✨

The absolute highlight of the day was an eye-opening masterclass with Raymond D. Neoh, the "Father of China's CG Industry"! Students were given a front-row seat to the future of digital production, exploring how curiosity, open-source tools, and experimentation can build entire industries from scratch.

The session wasn't just about listening—it was about creating. Following the conversation, Catina Yiu led a practical AI + Blender workshop where students learned the basics of visual storytelling and built their very own 3D models and short animations! 🏆 The Kane Pixels Competition

To put their new skills to the test, students are submitting their finished digital projects into the Kane Pixels Competition! The best 3D Blender creations could earn the opportunity to be showcased in the official SCMUN Opening Ceremony video! Day 2 at SCMUN Camp 🚀✨

Day 2 of SCMUN Camp was packed with learning, innovation, and exciting new experiences! 🌟

The morning kicked off with our NextGen AI Engineer session, featuring our own proprietary AI technology. Students then transitioned to the MUN and Debate Camps, where they sharpened their public speaking and critical thinking skills while tackling complex global issues.

After lunch, we welcomed two distinguished guests for an incredible afternoon of Tech+ sessions:

🍦Tech+Business: Students explored innovation and business strategy through a unique, hands-on ice cream-making activity.
⚽ Tech+Sport: The energy stayed high with football-related challenges that fostered teamwork, communication, and friendly competition .

We wrapped up the day with evening social activities, building new friendships and strengthening the SCMUN community.

✨ SCMUN 2026 Day 1: The Journey Begins! ✨

Yesterday marked the beginning of an exciting journey as participants from diverse backgrounds gathered to kick off this incredible experience together. 🌍

The day started with registration and orientation, giving everyone a warm welcome and an introduction to the days ahead. After settling into the dormitories, students got their first taste of university residential life , an experience that many were looking forward to.🎓

The afternoon was all about breaking the ice and building new connections. Through a series of team-based challenges, students worked together to solve problems, complete tasks, and collect pieces of a puzzle along the way 🧩. From navigating a maze to tackling creative teamwork activities, the games were filled with laughter, communication, and collaboration. ✨

To conclude the day, everyone gathered for a special Welcome Dinner 🌟. Students, staff, distinguished guests, and VIP attendees came together for the first official gathering of the program. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, share conversations, and celebrate the start of a memorable experience.

From strangers to teammates, and from introductions to new friendships, Day 1 was filled with energy, excitement, and meaningful connections ❤️. Thank you to all the guests and parents who participated in the Welcome Dinner—your presence and support made the evening truly special! ✨

As we settle into this new environment and continue building our community, we are incredibly excited for the experiences, challenges, and memories that await us in the days ahead. 🚀

A Year Ago, It Started Here — SCMUN 2025 Recap

Last year, SCMUN brought together passionate students from different schools, cities, and backgrounds for an unforgettable journey of learning, leadership, and global engagement.

Over the course of the programme, delegates exchanged ideas, tackled complex global issues, participated in thoughtful discussions, and stepped beyond their comfort zones. From inspiring keynote sessions and interactive workshops to meaningful friendships and unforgettable moments, SCMUN became more than just a conference. It became a community where future leaders learned to think critically, communicate confidently, and lead with purpose.

What made SCMUN special was not only the conversations that happened inside committee rooms, but also the connections formed beyond them. Students left with new perspectives, lasting friendships, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
