Our dear teacher Ajahn Brahm is turning 900 months old this year!

To mark this auspicious event, the Buddhist Society of Western Austratlia (BSWA) and Buddhist Society of Victoria (BSV) are hosting a charity auction tomorrow (1 Aug 2026) to raise funds for the new Dhamma hall at the Sanctuary of Stillness, the retreat centre at Newbury Buddhist Monastery, Melbourne. Live auction event can be joined via Zoom and will be live-streamed on Youtube.

- Lunch Dana
- Local Activities – Hosted in person at Buddhaloka Centre
- Afternoon Dhamma Talk by Ajahn Brahm – via a live video link to Buddhaloka Centre Malvern directly from Jhana Grove
- Live auction - hosted at Malvern and Jhana Grove. Funds raised will go towards the development of Sanctuary of Stillness Meditation Hall

After the auction, please join a special Sutta Paritta Chanting offered by the BSWA community in celebration of Ajahn Brahm’s 75th birthday.
The chanting will take place at Jhana Grove and will also be available online (via ZOOM or Live Streaming) for those unable to attend in person.

Ajahn Brahm is turning 75/900 this year and in celebration of his birthday, he wishes to support the construction of a dedicated Meditation Hall in the Sanctuary of Stillness, Newbury Buddhist Monastery's Retreat Centre. There will be both an online auction that starts today, as well as a "live" auction in Jhana Grove Retreat Centre on 1st Aug 2026, starting at 12 noon (AWST/SGT).

Bodhinyana International Foundation has successfully completed its 9-day retreat with the participation of the Entering of the Rains ceremony.

Throughout these peaceful days,
retreatants sat in deep meditation,
opening their hearts to stillness and clarity.

With the gentle guidance and profound teachings of Ajahn Brahm,
everyone received great benefit —
cultivating peace, wisdom, and loving-kindness.

May the merit of this retreat continue to shine,
just like the moon that blessed us from above.
