【奧柏學校童軍｜參與九龍灣區45週年就職典禮暨嘉年華⛺】

不知不覺奧柏學校童軍團已成立兩年，早前（7月12日）童軍團參加「第四十五屆區務委員會就職典禮暨九灣傳承45載・永續發展重未來嘉年華」，與區內各旅團一同見證就職儀式。

我們於成立首年已獲頒「優異旅團獎」，肯定了團隊過去的投入與表現。其後，我們繼續積極參與各項童軍活動：領袖參加了「光雕藝術療癒之夜」及「115周年嘉年華」，持續進修，將所學帶回旅團。學生亦完成了「童心燕・創未來」立體藝術創作比賽和「一旅一帳」，設計屬於我們的帳篷，並於嘉年華當天展出。

而活動當日，奧柏學校校長兼旅團領袖陳恩楟女士正式成為區務委員，展開新一年的服務崗位。同場我們亦設置了一個嘉年華攤位，準備了「金氏遊戲」——考驗記憶力與觀察力，攤位反應熱烈，吸引了不少參加者排隊挑戰，場面十分熱鬧！

感謝大會的安排，讓我們有機會在社區活動中展現所長，與不同旅團的童軍交流。期待未來繼續參與更多童軍活動，一同學習、成長、服務社區。

【AP School Scouts | Participating in the Kowloon Bay District 45th Anniversary Inauguration Ceremony and Carnival ⛺】

It has been two years since the Scout Team of AP School was established. Earlier (July 12), the AP School Scout Team took part in the "45th District Council Inauguration Ceremony and Kowloon Bay 45th Anniversary – Sustainable Development Carnival," joining other scout groups in the district to witness the inauguration.

We were honored to receive the "Outstanding Scout Group Award" half a year ago, in recognition of our past dedication and performance. Since then, we have continued to actively participate in various scout activities: our leaders joined the "Light and Shadow – Art Healing Night" and the "115th Anniversary Carnival," continuously learning and bringing new ideas back to the troop. While our students took part in the "Creative Swallow · Building the Future" 3D Art Competition and the "One Troop, One Tent" design project, where they created their very own tent, which was displayed on carnival day.

On the day of the event, our school principal and troop leader, Ms. Abbie Chan, was officially appointed as a district committee member, beginning her new term of service. We also set up a carnival booth featuring the "Kim's Game" — a test of memory and observation — which attracted a long queue of participants and received an enthusiastic response!

We are grateful to the organizing committee for providing us with the opportunity to showcase our strengths and interact with scouts from other groups. We look forward to participating in more scout activities in the future, learning, growing, and serving the community together.

【🎉見證成長｜2026奧柏學校嘉獎禮圓滿落幕】

上星期五（7月24日），奧柏學校年度嘉獎禮已順利於APF新總部禮堂舉行，全體師生共同慶祝學生過去一學年的努力與突破。

今年繼續由陳校長親自頒發個人化獎項，中英文班合共頒發超過近百張證書，表揚學生在不同範疇的進步與付出。獎項涵蓋多個範疇，例如中文班設有：靈活變通進步獎、積極探究之星獎、勇於挑戰大獎等；英文班則有：Independent Achiever Award、Complete Scholar Star Award及Good Decision Maker Award等。

當日氣氛溫馨又熱鬧，學生逐一上台領獎，臉上流露自信笑容，台下的掌聲與歡呼聲此起彼落，整個禮堂洋溢著互相欣賞的暖意。

除了嘉獎禮，亦為畢業生舉行簡單而隆重的畢業儀式。看著學生由入學時的羞澀，到今天從容站上台接受肯定，成長的軌跡清晰可見。縱有不捨，但更期待他們帶著在奧柏建立的信心與能力，在未來路上繼續發光。

嘉獎禮過後，奧柏學校亦正式進入暑假，新學年將於8月11日展開。祝各位同學假期愉快，亦祝畢業生前程似錦，未來可期！

【🎉Celebrating Growth | 2026 AP School Student Awards Ceremony Successfully Concluded】

Last Friday (July 24), the AP School annual Student Awards Ceremony was successfully held at the APF New Headquarters Hall, with teachers and students coming together to celebrate the efforts and achievements of the past academic year.

This year, Principal Ms.Abbie Chan once again presented personalised awards to students from both the Chinese and English classes, with nearly 100 certificates awarded in total to recognise their progress and dedication across different areas. Awards included the Flexible Thinking Progress Award, Active Explorer Star Award, and Courage to Challenge Award for the Chinese class; and the Independent Achiever Award, Complete Scholar Star Award, and Good Decision Maker Award for the English class.

The atmosphere was warm and lively throughout the day. Students took to the stage one by one to receive their awards, their faces beaming with confidence, while applause and cheers filled the hall — a true testament to the mutual encouragement and appreciation that defines our school community.

In addition to the award presentation, a simple yet dignified graduation ceremony was also held for our graduating students. Witnessing their transformation from the shy children who first walked through our doors to the confident individuals standing on stage today was a powerful reminder of how far they have come. While we feel a tinge of sadness seeing them leave, we are even more excited to see them carry the confidence and skills they have built at AP School into the future.

With the award ceremony coming to an end, AP School officially begins its summer break. The new school year will commence on August 11. Wishing all students a restful and enjoyable holiday, and to our graduates — may your future be bright and full of promise!

【奧柏學校開放日圓滿結束｜感謝每位到場參與的家長】

早前（6月25日），奧柏學校開放日順利舉行，感謝當日抽空親身到來了解的家長。

當日我們介紹了辦學理念和課程特色，也帶大家參觀了校舍，了解不同學齡學生的日常課堂環境；而學生代表——小童軍隊員和小賣部經理——分享了他們在校園的生活點滴，不少家長都對他們的自信表現印象深刻；問答環節中，校長和老師亦解答了大家對學校理念、具臨床實證的教學方法、升學銜接等方面的提問。

【AP School open day successfully concluded | Thank you to every parent who joined us】

Earlier (June 25), AP School held a successful Open Day. We would like to thank all the parents who took the time to come and learn more about our school.

During the event, we introduced our educational philosophy and curriculum highlights, and guided visitors through our school to observe the daily classroom environment for students of different age groups. Our student representatives — Scout team members and a tuck shop manager — shared their school life experiences, and many parents were impressed by their confidence and presentation skills. During the Q&A session, our Principal and teachers also shared our teaching philosophy and highly experienced teaching methods, school transition, and other related topics.

【奧柏學校端午節活動｜從遊戲中認識中國傳統節日🐉】

端午節將至，奧柏學校於6月16及18日舉行了兩場充滿節日氣氛的端午節活動，讓學生在遊戲與體驗中認識中國傳統文化。

活動設有三個挑戰攤位：
🎨 畫糭子 —— 發揮創意，為糭子添上獨特色彩
🧠 配對遊戲 —— 記憶力大考驗
🧩 拼圖挑戰 —— 考驗觀察力與專注力

每完成一個即可獲得印章，集齊三個印章便代表挑戰成功！過程中，學生不僅動手動腦，更從中學習端午節相關詞彙，了解製作糭子的材料與步驟，加深對端午節傳統的認識。

在奧柏學校，我們相信學習不限於課本。透過節日主題活動，學生在互動與體驗中累積知識，也從中培養專注力、協作與解難能力。

【AP School Dragon Boat Festival Activity | Learning About Chinese Traditional Culture Through Games 🐉】

With the Dragon Boat Festival approaching, AP School held two festive activities on June 16 and 18, allowing students to learn about Chinese traditional culture through games and hands-on experiences.

The event featured three challenge booths:
🎨 Drawing Rice Dumplings – unleashing creativity with unique colours and designs
🧠 Matching Game – a fun test of memory and focus
🧩 Puzzle Challenge – sharpening observation and concentration skills

Students received a stamp for each completed task, and collecting all three stamps meant they had successfully completed the challenge! Through these activities, students not only used their hands and minds, but also learned vocabulary related to the Dragon Boat Festival, as well as the ingredients and steps involved in making rice dumplings — deepening their understanding of this traditional festival.

At AP School, we believe that learning goes beyond textbooks. Through festive-themed activities, students gain knowledge through interaction and experience, while also developing focus, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

【⛺奧柏學校童軍團｜走進香港童軍115周年嘉年華・擴闊學習視野】

今天（4月15日）是全民國家安全教育日，而就在前夕（4月12日），奧柏學校童軍團的師生一同前往維多利亞公園，參與「香港童軍115周年國家安全暨軍樂匯演嘉年華」，實地考察各項展覽、攤位遊戲及活動。

嘉年華設有由紀律部隊及青少年制服團體安排的國家安全知識展覽與互動攤位，師生們從中認識到維護國家安全的不同面向，也體會到作為社會一員的責任與擔當。

其他精彩活動還包括：
🎷 紀律部隊與香港童軍樂隊軍樂匯演
🎯 多元體驗：無人機足球、攻防箭、射擊、繩結工藝、模擬水上活動等
🎨 童軍特色攤位遊戲、先鋒工程展區、露營展示
🎭 舞台表演：小童軍舞獅、街舞、變臉、口琴、敲擊樂等

師生們穿梭於各個主題區域，親身體驗攤位遊戲、觀摩軍樂演出，並了解童軍歷史與技能展示。學生們對互動環節特別投入，從中感受到團隊合作與紀律精神。

在奧柏學校，我們相信學習不止於課室。童軍活動所培養的責任感、解難能力與群體協作，正與我們的教學理念互相呼應。透過是次實地考察，老師將篩選適合學生的活動項目，為未來的童軍訓練及戶外學習作準備。

【⛺AP School Scout | Walking into the Hong Kong Scout 115th Anniversary Carnival – Broadening Learning Horizons】

Today (April 15) is National Security Education Day. On the day before (April 12), teachers and students of the AP School Scout Group visited Victoria Park to take part in the “Hong Kong Scout 115th Anniversary - National Security cm Joint Band Performance & Carnival”, exploring various exhibitions, game booths and activities on-site.

The carnival featured national security knowledge exhibitions and interactive booths organized by disciplinary forces and youth uniformed groups. Through these, teachers and students learned about different aspects of safeguarding national security and gained a sense of responsibility and commitment as members of society.

Other highlights of the event included:
🎷Band performance: performances by disciplinary forces and the Hong Kong Scout Band
🎯 Diverse hands-on experiences: drone soccer, combat archery, shooting, knot-tying crafts, simulated water activities, and more
🎨 Scout-themed game booths, pioneering project zone, camping display
🎭 Stage performances: Cub Scout lion dance, street dance, face-changing, harmonica, percussion, and more

Teachers and students moved through different themed zones, experiencing game booths first-hand, watching band performance, and learning about Scout history and skill demonstrations. The students were particularly engaged in the interactive activities, through which they experienced the spirit of teamwork and discipline.

At AP School, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. The sense of responsibility, problem-solving skills and team collaboration cultivated through Scout activities align closely with our teaching philosophy. Through this field trip, teachers will select suitable activities for future Scout training and outdoor learning preparations.

【📺奧柏學校接受TVB新聞透視訪問｜從投訴到意見收集箱：一個學生的成長故事】

早前奧柏學校獲TVB《新聞透視》邀請，探討特殊教育需要學生的學習與成長，相關片段已於3月14日正式播出。今天我們想與大家分享鏡頭背後，一個關於「投訴」與「信任」的故事。

學生Ambrose於2024年入讀奧柏學校至今兩年。某天他帶著不滿走進校長室打算投訴。陳校長耐心聽完他的心聲後，不但沒有敷衍了事，反而邀請他幫忙設計一個專屬的『意見箱』，希望藉此為全校同學搭建一個直接向校長發聲的渠道。

於是在老師的從旁協助下，Ambrose 利用網上設計工具，親手完成了意見箱與表格的設計。這個意見箱如今已設立在校長室門外，現在全校學生都可以透過這個箱子，表達自己的想法。

陳校長在訪問中分享：「只要換個角度，就可以發掘自閉症學生的潛能。」在一般人眼中，不斷表達意見可能是一種投訴、困擾；但在奧柏學校，我們更重視學生有信心向他人表達想法。

「每一個都好特別」她說，「校方要思考的是，如何將學生的特質轉化為優點，讓他們有所發揮」。

今天的Ambrose，不但在學校擔任童軍，更幫忙營運小賣部，才能得到充分發揮。記者當日在鏡頭外問他：「現在對學校還有沒有甚麼投訴？」他苦思良久，笑着說已沒有甚麼可以投訴了——「還真有點可惜呢！」

這份「可惜」，或許正是我們最想看到的：當學生意見被聽見、當投訴變成參與，那份歸屬感與成就感，遠比任何「投訴」來得珍貴。

【📺 AP School Featured on TVB News Magazine | From Complaints to a Suggestion Box: A Student’s Growth Story】

Recently, AP School was invited by TVB's News Magazine to discuss the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The segment officially aired on March 14. Today, we want to share a behind-the-scenes story with you—a story about "complaints" and "trust."

Our student Ambrose enrolled in AP School in 2024 and has been with us for two years. One day, he walked into the principal's office with frustrations, intending to make a complaint. After patiently listening to his thoughts, Principal Chan invited him to help design a dedicated "suggestion box," hoping to build a channel for all students to voice their opinions directly to the principal.

So, with the guidance of his teachers, Ambrose used online design tools to personally create the suggestion box and its forms. This box is now set up right outside the principal's office, allowing all students across the school to express their thoughts.

In the interview, Principal Chan shared: "If you just change your perspective, you can uncover the potential of students with autism." To the general public, constantly expressing opinions might seem like complaining or causing trouble. But at AP School, we value our students having the confidence to share their thoughts with others.

"Every one of them is so special," she noted. "What the school needs to think about is how to transform our students' unique traits into strengths, giving them the room to shine."

Today, Ambrose is not only a Scout at school but also helps run the tuck shop, putting his talents to full use. Off-camera that day, the reporter asked him: "Do you have any complaints about the school now?" He thought hard for a long time, smiled, and said there was nothing left to complain about—"It's actually a bit of a pity!"

This sense of "pity" is perhaps exactly what we want to see the most. When students' voices are heard, and when complaints are transformed into active participation, the resulting sense of belonging and achievement is far more precious than any "complaint."

【新春甜暖｜奧柏學校手作湯圓體驗】

在農曆新年前（2月10日），奧柏學校的學生完成了一節傳統美食課。學生從揉製糯米麵團開始，細心將紅豆餡包入其中，親手搓成一顆顆圓潤飽滿的湯圓，並現場烹煮試吃。

熱騰騰的湯圓，盛載的不只是甜味，更是師生協作的溫度。我們以雙手延續節日傳統，在實踐中感受文化的甘味。

【New Year Sweet Warmth | AP School Hands-On Sweet Dumplings Experience】

Before the Lunar New Year (February 10), AP School students took part in a traditional cooking class. Starting from kneading the glutinous rice dough, they carefully filled each piece with sweet red bean paste, rolled them into smooth, round sweet dumplings, and cooked them on the spot to enjoy together.

More than just a sweet treat, the warm dumplings carried the joy of teamwork and the heartfelt connection between students and teachers. Through hands-on practice, we passed down a festive tradition and savored the richness of our culture.

12月5日，奧柏學校師生與家長齊聚九龍灣運動場，在陽光與微風中，展開了一場充滿汗水、歡呼與溫暖的陸運會。

從起跑線上的專注預備，到接力區的信任交棒；從跳遠沙池前的奮力躍起，到終點線後的相互擊掌——每個瞬間，都是學生勇氣與成長的印記。

看台上，家長與老師的掌聲始終響亮；跑道旁，各班啦啦隊的創意口號與自製打氣牌，更為賽場注入滿滿的團隊能量。我們深信，學習不只發生在課室。運動會教會我們的堅持、協作與互勉，都是陪伴學生走向未來的重要力量。

On December 5th, AP School students, teachers, and parents gathered at Kowloon Bay Sports Ground for a sports meet filled with sweat, cheers, and warmth, under the gentle sunlight and breeze.

From focused preparation at the starting line to trusting baton passes in the relay zone; from determined leaps in the long jump pit to congratulatory high-fives beyond the finish line—every moment reflects the courage and growth of our students.

In the stands, parents and teachers kept the applause strong and steady; along the track, creative cheers and handmade banners from each class’s cheer squad infused the field with vibrant team spirit. We firmly believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. The perseverance, collaboration, and mutual encouragement fostered through sports are essential strengths that accompany our students toward the future.
