assuming the position of CEO of International Bank of Asia, Arsan served for several years as Asia-Pacific Area Head of First Chicago, where he built and headed First Chicago Asia Pacific (now - JP Morgan Asia). Holding many commercial contacts in the Greater China Region, Arsan spearheaded First Chicago's China business, and established the first joint-venture Investment Bank China formed in Hong Kong -- (CCIC) -- between First Chicago, Bank of China, Industrial Bank of Japan, and China Resources as partners. Appointed by the British Governor of Hong Kong, to serve on the Deposit Taking Companies' Advisory Committee, to assist the Hong Kong Government in administering new legislation on deposit taking companies, Arsan has contributed to the Banking and International Trade industry from many angles. Arsan has also been appointed by the President of Turkey as Honorary Consul General in Hong Kong from 1987-1989. Arsan speaks English and Turkish, and holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, and a B.Sc. Exceltrade has two primary business areas, International Trade and International Trade Finance Structuring and Advisory. Geographically, the firm is focused on trade between Asia-Pacific countries (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand), Turkey, the United States, and the UK.
