An Introduction...

Located in the heart of Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong, Monteca International Playschool (MIP) aims to provide children an authentic Montessori experience in a playschool setting. The prepared environment will promote an exploratory-based learning, led by their own innate curiosity, for the children as a bridge between learning about themselves and the wondrous world around them.

Founded in 2019, MIP is influenced by a North American culture, specifically Canada, to provide a nourishing, safe, and stimulating environment to our students to experience the life-long journey of learning. Within this influence, MIP also localizes the experience to better fit the relevance of learning in this hallmark of an international city of Hong Kong.

In addition to our Canadian standards, it is our belief that the Montessori pedagogy is especially beneficial for children 0 to 3 years old to reach their maximum potentials towards developmental goals. Our methods of delivery are also of matching standards to the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators (CCMA) to ensure that our practices are as authentic as possible.
