Wonderful news for my Year 8 student from Singapore International School for getting into the second round of the Wycombe Abbey UK assessments! Looking forward to the next stage of our preparations!

9 years ago, I met a little girl called Ashley from FIS. She was incredibly hardworking, intelligent and chatty! We worked hard together for 3 years preparing for the 13+ exams. The day came when she was accepted into Wycombe Abbey and we were over the moon. Another year or so left to work on some Latin, Maths and English before she began her new life in England.
This summer she is back in HK for work experience and we met for lunch. Now she is taller than me and studying Maths and Compueter Science at Oxford. How wonderful it was to hear about her experiences and see the amazing young woman she has become today!

T10 today, but business as usual!
9am start with Maths preparing a student for GSIS assessments for Year 7, then 9pm teaching two sisters in Shanghai Latin to prepare for the UK. Don’t let the weather get you down!
