[藝術教育新一頁 創意設計再思]

以往走進美術館，蘊含意義的藝術品往往出自名家之手。然而立足社會，每個人總有些說話想說。有沒有想過，學校的視覺藝術課，可以讓學生掌握設計的話語，說出心中所想？ 一雙可以放入現鈔作氣墊的踏實鞋，表達對土豪炫富的不滿；一套來自屠房的餐具，撕破遠離廚房的偽君子的面具...或許你以為這些設計意念來自鼎鼎大名的設計師，但以上的概念卻是來自一些高中學生。 賽馬會體藝中學謝小華老師，為了探索視覺藝術課的可能性，擔任顧問，請來兩位舊生，策劃名為「設計說話時」的教育計劃，與十三位高中視藝科學生進行一連串批判性設計的教學實驗，促成是次和行政長官卓越教學獎教師協會合辦的「設計說話時」展覽，分享設計教學成果，並展出十三位學生在半年間從零開始的意念設計作品。

[Art Education Re-think: Discursive Design Education Experiment]
Great artwork not only values on its technique, but also how it brings messages to its audience. But have you ever imagine, visual art lessons at school can be a channel to educate students, to speak with their design pieces?
In Design Says: Discursive Design Education Experiment 2015, high school students have showed their concern towards various social aspects: The resentment towards Tuhao was expressed by the design of shoes that reserved a compartment to insert money stacks as “air cushions”; to advocate vegetarian diet, a set of cutlery come from slaughterhouse might stop you from cutting though another Sirloin steak.
To explore the possibility of high school visual art curriculum, Ms. Florie Tse, Visual Arts Coordinator from Jockey Club Ti-I College, has invited two alumnus to curate this education experiment with 13 DSE Visual art students, along with the support of the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence Teachers Association.

[Design ·Education] dialogue with Mr. Eddy Yu

He has designed "So...soap", a social design project which won Grand Award of Design for Asia Award in 2011.
He has led the "I'mperfect" movement, which provokes reflections on the over pursuit on perfection.
Who is this inspiring designer? He is our honorable guest and speaker, Mr Eddy Yu, who co-founded CoLAB with Hung Lam aiming at design for social innovation in 2010. It is our honour to have Mr. Yu to have a dialogue session with us, the team behind "Design Says". Let's join the discussion of [Design · Education]!!
