Hello friends at JCSVIII !!! 😄

Welcome back after the reading week, we hope you had a good rest and are ready for a new challenge! The 2nd Inter-college Smart Energy Competition at JCSVIII will begin today (21 Oct) *”YAASSS!!!”* . We will be tracking energy use in all student rooms, pantries and laundry for a month, the college with the lowest energy use will win the competition and receive exciting prizes! This year, we also have additional prizes for you ;) - floor with the lowest energy usage will get a DONUT PARTY by the end of each week (one weekly prize per college). And stay tuned for our social media challenge!!!

Period: 21/10(Mon) - 22/11(Fri)
Scope: All residents in JCSVIII
Criteria: College with the lowest total energy use in rooms, pantries and laundry wins the grand prize (PIZZA PARTY)

This workshop is meant to prepare us JCSV III residents for the upcoming Inter College Energy Saving Competition! (Starting Oct 21-Nov 22)

Dear residents of JCSV III, welcome/ welcome back from summer break! As we start this new semester, surely we have set goals to improve ourselves. In the same spirit, let's commit together to be conscious of our energy usage. One tangible way to do this is to login to our Blue Sky app! The app enables you to track your room's energy usage in real time, compare with other residents, and receive handy tips on how to reduce electricity consumption. Your login credentials are in the welcome pack given to you during check-in and emailed to your HKU domain!

The Blue Sky Team has successfully held our launch party and introduced some of our coming plans including the boot camp and the new lighting system. A huge thanks to our guest Ms. Yan Yan Yip for her great sharing, and we hope to see everyone again in our coming activities!
