✨ Unlocking Early Literacy: Tea & Talk Parent Workshop

Learning starts at home, but it flourishes when school and family walk hand in hand.

We had a wonderful morning at our recent in-school Tea & Talk parent workshop, Supporting Phonics at Home. Parents, carers and our Early Years educators came together to share practical, research-backed strategies that build reading confidence and illuminate each child’s unique Shrewsbury Sparkle.

By strengthening foundational literacy in the Early Years, we lay the groundwork for a seamless pathway to global excellence; Preparing students to transition smoothly through primary, Key Stage 3, and onto leading Shrewsbury School and beyond.

Today marked our spectacular first House launch of the academic year. The energy across the campus was truly incredible.

At Shrewsbury Hong Kong, education extends far beyond the traditional classroom. Our students do not simply learn alongside their immediate peers; they discover, explore and thrive across all year groups. This unique interconnected approach allows younger children to find wonderful mentors, while older students develop vital leadership skills within their House teams.
