She’s a mother of three — and three years ago, she made a choice. She sent all her children to Garden House.

Not because it was the easy path. But because she believed in something different.

Now, three years later, here’s what she’s discovered:

Her children are not just happy — they are thriving. They’ve grown academically, socially, and emotionally. And she noticed something she didn’t quite expect:

By Grades 3 and 4, their academic level had already caught up with mainstream schools.

Not because they were pushed. Not because they were drilled. But because they were given time.

Time to understand, not just memorize. Time to explore, not just perform. Time to grow at their own pace.

She believes — and we do too — that children don’t need to be rushed to reach the finish line. When they are trusted and supported, they will get there. In their own time. In their own way.

This is what we mean by education with trust. This is what we mean by learning that lasts.

🎉 Our annual year‑end beach party, organized by the Parents Association, is a tradition we hold on the last day of the school year to celebrate together as a community! Relive the highlights from this year’s event: sun, sea, sand, BBQ, and endless laughter. Nearly 70 of us gathered, the weather was perfect, kids splashed in the sea, parents chatted over grilled goodies, and everyone left with happy hearts (and full tummies!). 🌱 30 May — our farm officially opened.

No one could have imagined —
just six months ago, this was a wasteland.

Overgrown with weeds. Scattered with stones. Stagnant water that barely moved. Even walking through it was hard.

But a group of parents and children came — every weekend. Bent down. Picked up tools. Cleared bit by bit. Dug inch by inch.

Six months passed. After countless hours and endless sweat —
the wasteland finally became a farm.

On this day, we gathered. No grand ribbon-cutting. Just full hearts.

🌿 This is not just a farm.
It is our children‘s nature classroom. A place where community puts down roots.

🌱 5月30日，屬於我們的農場，正式開幕了。

沒有人想得到——
就在半年前，這裡還是荒蕪一片。

雜草叢生，石頭散落，死水積聚，連路都難走。
但有一群家長和孩子，每個週末，彎下腰、拿起工具，一點一點地清，一吋一吋地挖。

半年過去，在付出無數時間和汗水後，荒地，終於成了農場。

這天，我們站在這裡，不需要華麗的剪綵，只有滿滿的感恩。

🌿 這裡不只是一座農場。
是孩子的大自然課室，是社群紮根的地方。

🚣 We’re not professional paddlers — just a team of parents and one senior student.

No trophy on 23 May in Stanley. But we gained something far greater:
🤝 The rhythm of rowing as one
❤️ The warmth of cheering each other on
🎵 Hugs and laughter after stepping ashore

That’s the power of community.

Three children, three grades — Joe is a father and a Garden House parent.

When choosing a school, he looked for three things:

1️⃣ The principal‘s vision, and how teachers interact and build relationships with children
2️⃣ A school that values the whole child — mental development, not just brain training
3️⃣ Plenty of opportunities for children to work with their hands and learn through real experiences

In less than a year, he went from ”I don’t want to go“ to ”Let me help.“

Better handwriting. More friends. Homework and chores? He just does them.
