Three children, three grades — Joe is a father and a Garden House parent.

When choosing a school, he looked for three things:

1️⃣ The principal‘s vision, and how teachers interact and build relationships with children
2️⃣ A school that values the whole child — mental development, not just brain training
3️⃣ Plenty of opportunities for children to work with their hands and learn through real experiences

In less than a year, he went from ”I don’t want to go“ to ”Let me help.“

Better handwriting. More friends. Homework and chores? He just does them.

🌿 Dancing into the sunlight — May Day 🌿

May Day has arrived.
Children gathered in circles, weaving flower crowns, dancing gently to the music.

The tail end of spring, the prelude to summer —
celebrating the earth’s awakening in the gentlest way.

May this lightness and joy find a home in your heart too.

🚣 The race hasn‘t arrived yet, but the hard work has already begun.

Parents and a senior student, training together in the same boat.

One boat, one heart.

They moved from the mainland to Hong Kong — all for the light in their daughter‘s eyes.

Catherine and her family once lived on the mainland.
They came to Hong Kong searching for an education that truly fits their child — and found Garden House.

Three years later —
Charlotte’s eyes have lit up again.
Her English has improved. She‘s more willing to connect with others. Her emotions are steadier.

Her mother says with a smile:
”Now she wakes up every day asking to go to school.“

Education is not just about grades and textbooks.
It’s about giving a child the courage to open her arms and embrace the world.
