This is the type of book I would suggest to families. It presents great opportunities to practise phonetics with non-sense words (typical of Dr. Seuss). In addition to that there are so many open ended questions that can be asked. In the end, this is really what you want to achieve, have your child become confident with their current language skills to get them applying it on their own.
