Something magical happened at GSIS when our Drama ECA students brought Roald Dahl’s The Witches to life on stage! 🧙🎭
The production was a true showcase of creativity, teamwork and imagination. Our cast captivated audiences with their humour, confidence and impeccable timing in an unforgettable night of theatre magic.
Behind the scenes, the dedication of our crew, teachers and parent volunteers helped transform our Drama Studio into a world of spells, potions and surprises. Every detail from fantastical costumes to spooky lighting, special effects and surprise musical numbers, all contributed to an atmosphere of pure enchantment.
A huge congratulations to the entire cast and crew for their hard work, passion and professionalism throughout the process. You embodied the spirit of collaboration and creativity that makes GSIS Drama so special.
Thank you to everyone who came to support and cheer us on. We can’t wait to see what next year’s productions will bring… until then, beware of witches! 🪄✨

Long-renowned for excellence in teaching and student achievement, GSIS continues to prepare stud
Stepping up to Secondary is a huge milestone and our students from both streams are officially ready! ✨
K04 students from the German International Stream recently took part in an action-packed Transition Day. Our current K05 classes stepped in to share their top tips and experiences before everyone teamed up for creative group projects. The adventure continued with a campus wide rally, led by our wonderful K09 students and wrapped up with a highly competitive (and very fun!) game of Brennball.
Meanwhile, our incoming Year 7 students from the English International Stream had their own transition experience. They jumped into interactive preview lessons across Drama, Science, Maths, Geography and Art. From collaborative games to hands on experiments and creative clay figurines, they got a realistic preview of life in the English Secondary Department.
Meeting their prospective teachers helped ease moving up anxieties and based on the enthusiasm across both groups, these students are fully prepared for the step up to Secondary. We cannot wait to see them thrive in the next chapter of their GSIS journey. 💛

The heart of the team is its people. It is inspiring to see our parents, alumni and staff paddling side by side, perfectly in sync. These shared journeys build wonderful friendships across the community and strengthen the special bonds that tie our school together.
One team, one rhythm, one incredible community!
