๐ Augustโs Standout Performances ๐
August picked up Julyโs momentum and ran with it: championship titles, finalist runs, and a deep haul of speaker awards across Indo Pacific School BP, the Asian Online Debating Championship, Asia Schools Debate Open, and Asia Schools Asian Parliamentary.
๐ At Indo Pacific School BP 2026 (1โ2 August), our debaters delivered a commanding showing with the Championship title, two Finalists, and four Semifinalists, capped by Overall Best Speaker plus 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 9th Overall. They also collected Novice speaker awards and swept multiple Under-14 and Under-16 speaker placements, including 1st Best Under-16.
๐ฅ At the Asian Online Debating Championship (Novice) (15โ16 August), three of our Under-14 debaters reached the Finals.
โญ At Asia Schools Debate Open 2026 (BP) (29โ30 August), we celebrated Under-13 Champions and Under-15 Champions, along with Finalists, Semifinalists and Quarterfinalists across age groups. Speaker honours included Australia and Oceaniaโs Best Speaker, 8th Overall, a strong set of Hong Kong Speaker Awards, and age-group prizes from Under-12 through Under-15.
๐ At Asia Schools Asian Parliamentary 2026 (29โ30 August), our Under-16 Champion was crowned, backed by Overall Best Speaker, Finalโs Best Speaker, 4th Best Overall, Best Under-16 Speaker and Best Under-18 Speaker.
๐ Congratulations to every one of our debaters for an outstanding August. From the Indo-Pacific circuit to Asia-wide competitions, they continue to represent Capstone with skill, courage, and heart, and we canโt wait to see what September holds. ๐
