📸 Wrap-Up: CityU DAOAA Luncheon – A Resounding Success!

5-Sept 2026 was a remarkable day for CityU DAOAA! Guided by our vision of "Strengthen Connections, Shape the Future," we were thrilled to gather nearly 100 alumni for an unforgettable luncheon, reuniting different cohorts with our respected teaching staff.

Alumni enjoyed deep conversations, sparked new ideas, and reconnected with many familiar faces we have all missed. This incredible milestone couldn't have been achieved without the collective effort of the DAOAA committee, the department, facility members from College of Business and ARO, esteemed guests, and generous sponsors!

Precious moments overwhelm from, appreciation to retired Professors, launch of Alumni Scholarship, Lucky Draw and Campus Tour.

Let's keep the CityU DAOAA spirit awake and continue to shape the future together.

Department of Management Sciences(MS) has been renamed Decision Analytics and Operations (DAO) according to the City University of Hong Kong

Dear MS Alumni,

We are pleased to share an important update regarding our alma mater.

Effective 1 January 2025, the Department of Management Science(MS)will officially be renamed as the Department of Decision Analytics and Operations(DAO). This change reflects the department’s evolving academic focus and commitment to advancing cutting-edge research and education in decision-making, analytics, and operations management.

As proud alumni of the Management Science programme, we remain connected to the department and its continued growth. While the name has changed, the spirit of our shared academic journey and the strong alumni network we’ve built together remain the same.

We will continue to keep you updated on any future developments and opportunities to stay engaged with DAO department and fellow alumni.

Thank you for your continued support!

Warm regards,
ExCo, Alumni Association of Department of Decision Analytics and Operations(DAOAA)
