What an unforgettable year 2020 is. Few things to remember, is that we are all in this together in this journey of time.

As we look to the new year, hold on to what is good, let go of what is bad - just that simple. Time flies, but we are always the pilot.

Here’s some mantras to bring to the new year, put things in perspective and to redirect your energy effectively when needed.

MANTRA 1: I am not alone.
Remember is that you don’t have to face hard times by yourself. Don’t be scared to let someone special in when you’re in a dark place.

MANTRA 2: I am here now.
You are not your bad days. You are not your mistakes. You are not your past. You are now your downs. You are not your past. Be here now, and breathe.

MANTRA 3: This is the beginning.

Every situation has to come to an end eventually. The world is bigger thanour momentary view of it. Now, there’s plenty of room for a new idea, a new step, new beginning, new choice.

MANTRA 4: In my response is my power.

The goal isn’t to get rid of all your negative thoughts, feelings, or life situations from this past year. That’s impossible. The goal is to change your response to them.

MANTRA 5: I have enough to move forward.

Seriously, look around, and be thankful right now. Even in times of uncertainty—even when life seems far from perfect—it’s always important to keep the simple things in perspective. You are alive. You have access to water. You have air to breathe.

Be thankful for all the things you do have.

Breathe it in. And then do your best to take the next smallest step forward into 2021.

One of the phenomena of our fascinating existence is the fact that we can move ourselves, mostly unconsciously, through space.

Our body is a compromise between mobility and stability. We are not as stable as a house; however, nor are we as mobile as the wind.

In order to create integrity and mobility in the body, our “creator” came up with something rather special.

From
A few words from the Bhagavad-Gita: "Your privilege extends only to the act, never at any time to the outcome. Do not be overly motivated by outcomes, nor should you commit yourself to inaction. Stand in yoga, perform the acts. Give away the avidity. Be reasonable about success and failure. Yoga is equanimity (in the storm).” 2.47-2.61 (translation by Douglas Brooks)

Yoga is like music: the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life. - BKS Iyengar. Find your alignment.

Change only happens in the present moment. The past is already done. The future is just energy and intention.

Yoga is bringing fitness into the body, calmness in mind, kindness im heart and awareness in life. Peace is the foundation of yoga. Karma yoga is the effort for bringing peace and happiness in the world.

22/09/2020

The gift of Yoga is sensitivity to our bodies, and ultimately, sensitivity to life. When we tap into that, we can become of service to ourselves first, others second. And, have more to give.

May this Yoga journey we’re on draw a wider circle of it’s meaning. It is life, movement, grief, joy, love and suffering and being with it all. We can take steps to inner growth and calm– together.

Online education and training coming to you this Fall 2020 ~ stay tuned 💫
