📘✨ Just finished Theo of Golden by Allen Levi (recommended by my buddies Ruben Gonzalez and Pat Quinn) – and what a beautiful surprise. ❤️

Some books entertain. Some books inspire. And some quietly remind you what really matters. This is one of those books.

Allen has a gift for creating characters who feel real and stories that linger long after you’ve turned the final page. Theo of Golden is filled with wisdom, grace, friendship and the kind of life lessons that sneak up on you when you’re least expecting them. 🌟📖

In a world that often moves too fast, this book invites you to slow down, pay attention and appreciate the people and moments that truly matter.

Highly recommend this one for a weekend read.

😁 This week’s episode:🎙️ Sometimes Impact Matters More than Profit – The Million-Dollar Mistake 🎤🌏

He never set out to change the world.

He was a working musician – talented enough to earn a living, but not famous enough to fill arenas. Then one simple request changed everything. A customer wanted to sing, but there was no band available to accompany him. So he improvised a solution. It wasn’t elegant. It wasn’t revolutionary. It was simply practical. Yet hidden inside that ordinary moment was an idea that would eventually spread across the globe. 🎶

What fascinated him wasn’t the technology – it was the reaction. People weren’t looking for perfection. They weren’t trying to become stars. They wanted something far more human: a chance to participate. To laugh. To connect. To step into the spotlight, even if only for a few minutes. So he built a simple machine that gave ordinary people permission to perform. 🎭✨

The idea exploded. Businesses made fortunes. Entire industries emerged. Millions of people embraced the experience. Yet while others capitalized on the concept, the inventor himself earned almost nothing from it. He never protected the idea. Never built an empire. Never became wealthy. And surprisingly, he rarely expressed regret. 🌍

🎧 Tune in and discover why some of the most meaningful legacies aren’t measured by the money they generate – but by the joy, connection and memories they create for others.

🎤 What if the reason your audience isn’t taking action has nothing to do with your expertise…

…and everything to do with how you’re telling the story? 🤔

Had a wonderful conversation with Holly Porter on Retreat RNR about one of my favorite topics:

📖 How to create presentations that people don’t just hear…
They remember.

Whether you’re leading a retreat, speaking on a stage, hosting a workshop, coaching clients or simply trying to communicate more effectively, this conversation is packed with practical strategies you can use immediately. 🚀

We explored:
✨ The 5 C’s Framework for presentations that connect and convert
🎯 Why clarity is the secret weapon most speakers overlook
❤️ How to create genuine connection with any audience
📚 Why stories are remembered long after facts are forgotten
📣 How to craft a call to action people actually follow
🔥 The emotional closing techniques that inspire real change

One of the biggest mistakes speakers make?

They try to impress people.

The best communicators do something different.

👉 They make people feel understood.

Because when people feel seen, heard and understood, they lean in.

And when they lean in, transformation becomes possible. 🌟

Huge thanks to Holly for creating such a thoughtful conversation around communication, leadership, retreats and impact. 🙌💙

🚨 What if the reason your message isn't landing has nothing to do with your expertise...

..and everything to do with your ability to connect? 🤔

Had an amazing conversation with Vic Moser on Make It Ambitious 🎙️🔥 about why misfits often build more trust than experts.

Sounds crazy, right?

But think about it...

People don't connect with perfection. ❌

They connect with:❤️ Authenticity😅 Vulnerability🙌 Relatable struggles📖 Honest stories

In this episode, we unpack:🔥 Why polished presentations often fail to inspire action🎤 The difference between real confidence and performative confidence📚 How reading shapes leadership and communication🚀 Why ambitious people stay invisible despite having incredible talent💡 How storytelling builds trust faster than credentials ever will⚡ Why perfectionism is often just fear wearing a fancy disguise

One of my favorite points:
👉 Your failures often build more trust than your successes.

Years ago, after losing nearly everything in a real estate seminar scam, I had a choice:
Stay stuck in the story...
Or rewrite it.

That experience ultimately led me to helping entrepreneurs and leaders use storytelling to build trust, influence and impact around the world. 🌎

Because the goal isn't to look perfect.
The goal is to be memorable.

Huge thanks to Vic for creating such a thoughtful conversation around ambition, reinvention, confidence and what it really takes to own your voice. 🙌✨

🚨 Most leaders think they have a communication problem.

They don’t.

They have a connection problem.

Had an incredible conversation with Rahul Karan Sharma on The Climb Leadership Development & Confident Leader Podcast 🎙️🔥 about what separates leaders who are merely heard from leaders who are truly remembered.

Here’s the reality:

📊 More data won’t save a weak presentation.
🤖 More AI won’t create trust.
🎤 More credentials won’t make people care.

What will?

✨ Authentic connection.

We unpacked:
🔥 The 5 C’s Framework for presentations that convert
🎯 Why vulnerability creates more trust than a list of accomplishments
😂 How strategic humor instantly lowers resistance
🧠 Why perfection is the enemy of engagement
🚀 How leaders can magnify their impact through intentional storytelling
💡 The communication shifts that transform managers into influential leaders

One of my favorite takeaways:

👉 People don’t follow resumes.
👉 People follow stories.

In a world flooded with artificial intelligence, your greatest competitive advantage is still authentic human intelligence. ❤️

Take your work seriously.

Never take yourself too seriously. 😄

Huge thanks to Rahul for creating such a powerful platform for leaders who want to grow their influence, strengthen their communication, and elevate their impact. 🙌

📚🎉 Exciting news!

I'm incredibly grateful to share that I've had the opportunity to contribute my story alongside an amazing group of fathers in the new book from 👨‍👧‍👦❤️

As a dad, teacher, author and lifelong learner, I've discovered that some of life's greatest lessons don't come from a classroom or a stage – they come from family. 🙏

I'm especially honored to see this project receive support from . 🚀🌎

What excites me most isn't seeing my own story in print – it's diving into the stories of the other dads who contributed. Every father has a story. Every father has a lesson. Every father leaves a legacy. 💙

Huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to life! 👏🔥

😁 This week’s episode:🎙️ The Best Ideas Come from Everyday Moments – The Argument That Built an Empire 🍻📚

It started with a simple disagreement.

A few friends on a hunting trip. A missed shot. A debate over which bird was the fastest in Europe. Harmless conversation…until no one could prove the answer. They searched books, argued over dinner and grew increasingly frustrated that such a simple question had no clear source. Most people would have moved on. One man couldn’t stop thinking about it. 🧠

What fascinated him wasn’t the bird. It was the problem. If educated people with access to libraries couldn’t settle an everyday argument, how many similar debates were happening in pubs, homes and conversations around the world? Instead of dismissing the moment, he paid attention to it. And in doing so, he uncovered something far bigger than trivia: people love discovering who – or what – is the best. 🌍

He gathered researchers, fact-checkers and obsessive collectors of obscure information. Together, they began documenting records, achievements and superlatives from across the globe. What started as a promotional idea quickly became a cultural phenomenon – one that transformed ordinary curiosity into one of the most successful publishing concepts in history. 📖✨

🎧 Tune in and discover why some of the greatest ideas don’t arrive in boardrooms or brainstorming sessions – they begin in the middle of ordinary conversations most people overlook.

🚨 Most entrepreneurs don’t have a product problem.

They have a STORY problem.

Had an incredible conversation with about why brilliant founders, executives, and business owners lose deals, capital, and opportunities – not because their ideas are weak… but because their communication is forgettable. 🎤💡

At Well-Crafted Story™, we help leaders turn presentations into client-generating assets 🚀

And here’s the truth we unpacked:

📉 More data does NOT create more trust.
📖 Better stories do.

We dove into:
🔥 The 5 C’s Framework for presentations that convert
🎯 Why 95% of business owners can’t clearly explain what they do
😂 How humor instantly lowers resistance and builds connection
🤝 Why vulnerability creates more trust than credentials
📈 How storytelling impacts sales, fundraising, and business growth
🚫 The 2 biggest mistakes presenters make every day

One of my favorite moments?

A Silicon Valley engineering team pitching for $50M completely changed the energy in the room with ONE self-deprecating joke.

Why?

Because people trust humans – not perfection.

My rule:
👉 Take your work seriously.
👉 Never take yourself too seriously.

🚨 What if making your first million had less to do with selling… and more to do with storytelling?

Had an incredible conversation with my friend on the Unstoppable Podcast 🎙️🔥

We unpacked something most entrepreneurs miss:

👉 It’s not a sales problem.
👉 It’s an attention problem.

In a world overloaded with content 📱⚡, people don’t buy because you talk more…

They buy because they remember you. 💡

Here’s what we explored:

🔥 Why storytelling is a business asset – not just a communication skill
🎯 How the 5 C’s create messages that actually convert
🧠 Why clarity cuts through confusion
🤝 How connection creates trust
🚀 Why your call to action matters more than most people realize

One of my favorite takeaways:

People rarely take action because they were overloaded with information.

They take action because they felt something. ❤️

Huge thanks to Harry for creating an incredible platform and bringing practical strategies that entrepreneurs can apply immediately 🙌

📘🚪 Just finished Quit: The Power of Knowing When to Walk Away by Annie Duke – and this one challenged me in all the right ways. 🤯📖

We’re taught to admire persistence. Push through. Grind harder. Never quit. 💪🔥

But this book asks a fascinating question: What if quitting the wrong thing is exactly what allows you to win the right thing? 🎯

What I loved is that Duke doesn’t frame quitting as weakness – she frames it as strategy. Sometimes we hold on because of ego, sunk costs or because we’ve already invested too much time. Meanwhile, opportunity is waiting somewhere else. 🚪➡️🚀

For entrepreneurs, speakers, leaders and anyone chasing big goals, this is a powerful reminder: success isn’t only about commitment… it’s also about knowing where not to spend your energy.

Definitely one of those books that sticks with you long after you close it. It has found a permanent place on my bookshelves.
