2026.08.06 🤝A New MoU and Student Exchange Agreement with Chanakya University

HKMU LiPACE is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Student Exchange Agreement with Chanakya University, a dynamic multidisciplinary institution based in Bengaluru, India. Committed to combining contemporary education and research with India’s rich knowledge traditions, Chanakya University places a strong emphasis on experiential learning, innovation, and global engagement.

This exciting partnership marks a significant step in expanding our footprint in South Asia. It opens new doors for our students by paving the way for semester exchanges, short-term study visits, and international internships. By joining forces, both institutions aim to create enriching academic and cultural experiences that nurture global perspectives and professional growth.

The agreement was proudly signed by our Dean, Dr. Benjamin Chan, and Prof. Sushant T. Joshi, Registrar of Chanakya University. To commemorate this milestone, pictured alongside Dr. Chan are Ms. Julia Hui (Programme Director) and Ms. Heidi Cheng (Senior Lecturer), while Dr. Ravikant Ranjan, Associate Director (Global Engagement) at Chanakya University, is pictured next to Prof. Joshi.

香港都會大學李嘉誠專業進修學院與位於印度班加羅爾的綜合型學府Chanakya University簽署合作備忘錄（MoU）及學生交流協議。Chanakya University致力於將現代教育及研究與印度豐富的知識傳統相結合，並高度重視體驗式學習、創新和全球參與。

這次合作標誌著我們在拓展南亞網絡方面邁出了重要一步。這將為我們的學生打開新大門，未來將推出學期交換計劃、短期學習考察及國際實習等寶貴機會。透過攜手合作，雙方期望能為學生帶來豐富的學術與文化體驗，培養他們的全球視野與專業發展。

協議由本院院長曾德源博士與Chanakya University教務長Sushant T. Joshi教授共同簽署。簽署儀式由課程總監許慧怡女士及高級講師鄭曉敏女士陪同曾院長，而Chanakya University全球事務副總監Ravikant Ranjan博士則陪同Joshi教授，共同見證此重要時刻。

【藝術導賞員專業證書】新一期課程將於2026年10月8日開課 現正招生

「藝術源於生活，卻又高於生活。」我們每天都會接觸到不同的藝術文化，包括建築、服飾、器具、書畫等。通過了解中西歷史文化，學會從不同視角去欣賞、感受和演繹多元萬象的藝術世界，能夠讓藝術與生活緊密連結。

本課程由HKMU LiPACE與香港導賞員學會合辦，旨在為學員提供成為藝術導賞員所需的專業知識和技能，增強學員對中西藝術史、文化、藝術風格和博物館導覽等的相關知識以進行藝術考古詮釋。課程著重互動性，學員將安排參觀不同藝術機構或專題展覽、進行導賞實務培訓。完成課程後，符合資格的畢業生可以申請註冊成為香港導賞員學會的「認可導賞員」。

本課程屬資歷架構第四級別，並已加入持續進修基金(CEF)可獲發還款項課程名單。

HKMU LiPACE新一期的「專業廟宇管理證書」課程將於2026年10月13日開課。課程內容豐富，涵蓋廟宇文化及管理知識、廟宇的起源、宗教背景、歷史發展、保育維護，以及廟宇參觀調研等活動。課程旨在為有志從事廟宇管理行業的人士、現職從業員或對廟宇文化有興趣的人士提供專業培訓。

【PCETEMM 專業廟宇管理證書】課程與華人廟宇委員會合辦，取得證書的學員，可獲豁免投標華人廟宇委員會「廟宇管理合約」之第一階段資格評核試。此外，學員如符合指定出席率及成績要求，可獲華人廟宇委員會頒發的助學金／獎學金。

2026.08.06 Bidding a fond farewell to a valued partner of the School 🇪🇬🤝

Dr. Benjamin Chan (Dean) visited the Consulate General of Egypt in Hong Kong to express our gratitude and bid a heartfelt farewell to HE Baher Sheweikhi (Consul General of Egypt in Hong Kong) as he concludes his tenure in the city.

The Egyptian Consulate has been an extraordinary partner in our ongoing mission to foster cross-cultural understanding. Looking back, we are incredibly proud of the milestones we have achieved together. From co-hosting a captivating Arabic movie screening as part of our International Lifelong Learning Festival (ILLF) series to backing our school outreach efforts to promote Egyptian culture in our partner secondary schools, their dedication has been truly inspiring.

We also owe a special note of thanks to HE Sheweikhi and his team for their unwavering support throughout the planning process of the Study Visit to Cairo this May, which made it a resounding success. ✈️

We wish to extend our warmest congratulations to HE Sheweikhi on his new posting back in Cairo, and wish him every success and happiness in his next endeavours! ✨

院長曾德源博士親臨埃及駐香港總領事館，向即將離任的埃及駐香港總領事 Baher Sheweikhi 先生表達感謝與誠摯的告別。

埃及駐港總領事館一直是本院推動跨文化理解使命中極為重要的夥伴。回顧過往，雙方攜手取得多項成果，包括合作舉辦「國際終身學習節」系列阿拉伯電影放映會、支持本院向夥伴中學推廣埃及文化的學校外展活動 ，以至於今年五月成功舉辦開羅學習考察團，全部都有賴總領事館在整個籌劃過程中提供堅定支持。✈️

我們衷心感謝 Sheweikhi 總領事及其團隊一直以來的支持與合作，亦藉此機會，誠摯祝賀總領事即將返回開羅，謹祝他未來事業一帆風順、生活幸福美滿。✨

Celebrating Egypt–Hong Kong Ties at the Palace Museum

Ms. Helen Pang (Associate Director), Ms. May Yang (Senior Lecturer), and Ms. Heidi Cheng (Senior Lecturer) had the honour of attending the Egyptian National Day Reception at the magnificent Hong Kong Palace Museum. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Paul Lam, GBS, SC, JP (Secretary for Justice).

The prestigious event commemorated the 74th anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution, where HE Baher Sheweikhi (Consul General of Egypt in Hong Kong) delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the flourishing economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between Egypt and Hong Kong, including our FHDCCAP students participating in a study visit in Cairo in May.

As a special highlight, our team enjoyed an exclusive VIP viewing of the breathtaking "Ancient Egypt Unveiled" exhibition, immersing themselves in the timeless artefacts and rich history of ancient civilization.

走進故宮探索古埃及

香港都會大學李嘉誠專業進修學院積極推動國際交流，很榮幸能於香港文化地標參與重要盛事。

副院長彭海寧女士、高級講師楊美琼女士及高級講師鄭曉敏女士，最近出席於香港故宮文化博物館舉行的埃及國慶招待會，活動並獲律政司司長林定國資深大律師, GBS, SC, JP蒞臨主禮。

是次盛會旨在慶祝埃及七十四週年國慶。埃及駐香港總領事Baher Sheweikhi閣下在致辭中強調，埃港兩地在經濟、貿易及文化層面交流日益緊密，其中包括我院FHDCCAP學生於五月赴開羅進行學習考察，親身體驗當地文化與歷史。

活動期間，我院團隊亦獲安排參與「古埃及文明大展──埃及博物館珍藏」專屬貴賓導覽，近距離欣賞珍貴文物，深入了解古埃及文明的悠遠歷史。

學院將繼續為學生創造多元國際學習機會，擴闊視野，連繫世界。

LiPACE Wins Corporate Category Award at “Nourish Out Loud: Breastfeeding Short Video Competition 2026”

LiPACE is delighted to announce that we have been recognized as the Corporate Category Winner of the “Nourish Out Loud: Breastfeeding Short Video Competition 2026”, co-organized by UNICEF HK and the Department of Health.

Associate Director Dr CHING Ka Wai, Larry, together with our Creative Culture and Art Practice (CCAP) Programme Team and Health Programme Team, received the award on 31 July 2026—celebrating the creativity and care behind this meaningful video.

Among 35 entries, our video received three distinguished accolades:
• Most On-Theme Award
• Most Innovative Award
• Most Inspirational Award

The winning video was a heartfelt collaboration between the CCAP and Health teams. Inspired by the wish to support a colleague who was expecting, the team brainstormed and designed a warm, fully-equipped lactation room—with comfortable seating and practical amenities—and surprised her with the reveal. This initiative was never just about one colleague; this was a genuine step towards fostering a breastfeeding friendly culture for all working parents at LiPACE.

We believe small, thoughtful actions can spark meaningful change and help build a more inclusive, caring workplace. This recognition affirms our commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also empathy and support in our community.

LiPACE 榮獲「餵愛發聲」母乳餵哺短片創作比賽2026企業組別獎

LiPACE 於香港聯合國兒童基金會及衞生署合辦的「餵愛發聲」母乳餵哺短片創作比賽2026中，榮獲企業組別獎。

副院長程家偉博士聯同創意文化與藝術實踐（CCAP）課程團隊及健康學（Health）課程團隊，於 2026 年 7 月 31 日出席頒獎典禮並代表 LiPACE 接受殊榮，見證這條充滿心意與創意的得獎短片。

我們的作品在 35 隊參賽隊伍中脫穎而出 ，一舉奪得三項獎項：
• 最佳主題表現獎
• 最佳創意獎
• 最具感染力獎

短片由 CCAP 團隊與 Health 團隊攜手創作，源於一個真摯的初心——為一位懷孕同事送上最實在的支持。團隊集思廣益，設計出一間溫暖而設備齊全的哺乳室，從舒適座椅到各項貼心設施，每個細節都盡見關懷，並為她安排驚喜揭幕。這不單是一份送給一位同事的心意，更是推動 LiPACE 建立職場哺乳友善文化的重要一步，讓每位在職父母都能感受到尊重與照顧。

我們深信，小小的關懷可以帶來大大的改變，攜手打造更共融、更關愛的工作環境。這項殊榮肯定了我們在追求學術卓越的同時，亦致力培育同理心與相互支持的文化。
