他們於8月24日在蒙古烏蘭巴托參加由數據與系統工程系主辦的「亞太廣播聯盟機械人大賽2025」，與來自日本、印度、馬來西亞、越南等國家和地區的13支隊伍激烈角逐，最終榮獲亞軍！
展現了HKU Robocon團隊的實力與拼搏精神！

🎉 Congratulations to HKU Robocon! 🎉
The HKU Robocon Virtus team from the Faculty of Engineering at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has claimed the top prize at this year's "Robocon Hong Kong Contest 2025." As champions, they represented Hong Kong at the "ABU Robocon 2025” in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on August 24, hosted by the Department of Data and Systems Engineering.
They competed fiercely against 13 teams from Japan, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other regions. They clinched the impressive 1st runner-up position!
This showcases the strength and spirit of the HKU Robocon team!

An enriching experience to exploring AI innovation at industry frontier with Google Hong Kong

Summary: On July 4th, 2025, DASE students engaged in the immersive "Experience the Next Level of Google AI at Pop-up!" event, hosted at Google Hong Kong’s Times Square office in Causeway Bay. The session opened with Google experts sharing cutting-edge industrial applications of AI, including real-world case studies, and highlighting the company’s global "AI for Good" initiatives, which demonstrated technology’s role in addressing societal challenges.
During the career planning segment, actionable pathways for joining Google and thriving in AI-driven industries were outlined, empowering students with strategic guidance. Participants then explored interactive AI booths, gaining hands-on exposure to Google’s latest tools like generative AI models and industry-specific solutions, followed by an office tour revealing Google’s innovation-centric workspace design and collaborative culture. The event culminated in a group photo celebrating the strengthened HKU-Google partnership, leaving students with not only enriched technical knowledge but also renewed inspiration to pursue AI careers and contribute to Hong Kong’s tech ecosystem through ethical, impactful innovation.
