We were honored to facilitate a highly productive executive exchange today between the global IFMA leadership team visiting from the USA and Europe (Michael Geary, CAE, Ann Loayza, Niels Peters), our Hong Kong Chapter directors (Don Tse, Dora CL Yim, Kenneth Tsang, Frankie Leung), and the representatives from PMSA!

The meeting provided an excellent platform to discuss the ongoing success of Hong Kong’s 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐏𝐌) 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐞. It also allowed us to exchange valuable insights on the critical pillars shaping the future of our built environment, including 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, etc.

As the PM licensing regime marks significant milestones, Hong Kong now boasts a professional force of over 830 licensed PM companies and 15,000+ licensed practitioners managing 2.4 million units. The Hong Kong Chapter of IFMA remains deeply committed to supporting our members, encouraging professional enhancement, and driving sustainable community development alongside the PMSA.

We were honored to have both our Secretary Joe Chow and Director Ruby Cheung represented IFMA HKC at SAA’s HKSTP - Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation Alumni Homecoming 2026 — an event that truly went beyond reunion, last month Tuesday, on 17-March.

With ~170 alumni, startups, industry partners, and guests under one roof, the theme “Together We Shine” came to life through meaningful networking and real collaboration. Highlights included the Networking Wall & Co-Creation Hub, thematic tables that sparked focused conversations, and an engaging fireside chat on innovation for resilient business ecosystems.

We were delighted to convey the annual IFMA Hong Kong Chapter 2025/2026 Annual General Meeting on Monday, 23 March 2026, at Centricity, attended by directors, chapter members, corporate partner representatives, facility management professionals.

The Annual General Meeting, hosted by the Secretary, included the President’s and Treasurer’s reports and concluded with the successful election of officers for 2026–2027. Thank you to all members for your participation.
