What better way to learn about the food we eat every day than by stepping into the shoes of our amazing Grub staff?

Prep 1 pupils had a fantastic hands-on experience, helping serve lunch and carefully setting tables with lunch boxes and cutlery for their friends. There were lots of smiles, and a real sense of teamwork and responsibility as they took on their important roles.

The children came away with a new appreciation for all the care and hard work that goes into our school lunches. To say thank you, they also made lovely personalised cards for the Grub team and proudly delivered them in person — a simple but thoughtful gesture that underpins the strength of our school community.

Congratulations to our pupil Hannah on her impressive performance at the highly competitive Inter-School Aquathlon Championships, where she went up against 88 students from both international and local schools.

Despite a sudden downpour at the start and an age disadvantage, Hannah showed exceptional resilience as she completed a 50-metre swim and a 900-metre outdoor run in extremely heavy rain.

Her determination and perseverance earned her an outstanding 8th place finish, securing one of the coveted medals awarded to the top eight competitors.....proof that no matter how hard it rains, Hannah always shines! 🌧️🏅

In a world where AI can answer questions instantly, real-world learning matters more than ever.

Prep 3's visit to the Science Museum offered lots of opportunities to explore hands-on exhibits, experiment with ideas, and see science in action. Alongside exciting new displays on artificial intelligence and future technologies, pupils discovered how curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving remain at the heart of innovation.

As technology changes how we access information, experiences like these help our children develop something AI can’t replace: the ability to explore, question, and make sense of the world around them.. they also ensure everyone has lots of fun!

Our FY2 students recently travelled to Yangshuo, China, as part of an interdisciplinary investigation into how people impact local ecosystems.

They explored the area and considered how both locals and tourists can affect the natural environment, linking their learning across subjects in a real-world setting.

Outdoor learning like this helps pupils make stronger connections between what they learn in the classroom and the world around them, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of sustainability.

It also allows time for plenty of fun and adventure!

🎨 Our latest mural project is now complete!

Over the past few weeks, our Prep 5 pupils became Art Activists, working once again with local mural artist Taka to turn their ideas into a vibrant new mural based on this year’s theme of Love, Peace and Compassion.

The finished work does far more than brighten our school. It shares an important message about kindness, understanding and looking out for one another – values that sit at the heart of our community.

We’re so proud of the creativity, thought and teamwork the pupils showed throughout the project.

Thank you, Taka, for helping bring their vision to life!
