We recently brought our SD3250 Production Technologies for Communication Design course students on an eye-opening visit to two local printing houses — and !

Students got to dive deep into the world of commercial printing, learning about different printing techniques and exploring a wide range of printing machines up close. From offset printing to digital finishing, it was a hands-on experience that truly brought classroom knowledge to life!

And the journey doesn't stop here! Students will now be working on their packaging design assignments, with the support of the printing houses to bring their creative visions to life. Their final masterpieces will be on display at the MRC! Stay tuned for the exhibition date.
