數學學會將會喺 10 月 17 號 (星期四) 下午3點45分至5點15分喺 113 室 (5B班房) 舉行迎新日。我哋今年迎新日嘅主題係解碼，大家可以喺活動中多個數學小遊戲中獲取唔同資訊，最高分嗰組仲可以嘗試打開寶藏㖭。就算唔係最高分嗰組都唔緊要，每個有參加嘅同學都會有獎㗎。到時有嘢食、有嘢飲，保證唔會空手而歸！

如果想参加我哋數學學會迎新日，就記得叫埋朋友仔下星期四 10 月 17 號準時到 113 室啦！

另外，中一至中二同學如果有關於QCMO ScreeningTest嘅問題想問我哋，都歡迎嚟迎新日問吓。

Society of Mathematical Studies is going to hold an O-day (orientation day) on 17/10 (Thursday), from 3:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. The venue is Room 113 (5B classroom). This year, the theme of the O-day is decoding. You can play many minigames and get information from them. The group that scores the highest will even be first trying to open a treasure! Even if you don’t score the highest it’s okay, as every group will get the participating award too. There are food and drinks, and plenty of prizes waiting for you!

If you are interested in the O-day, don’t forget to call your friends together with you, and go to Room 113 next Thursday on time!

P.S. For S1-S2 students, if you have any enquiries about the QCMO Screening Test held, you may also come and ask us.

【 Rubik’s Cube Contest| 校內扭計骰比賽 】

考試啱啱完咗，大家係唔係都想輕鬆一下呢？數學學會將會舉辦一個校內嘅扭計骰比賽，詳情如下：

日期：30/1/2024 (星期二）

時間：13:00 - 13:30

地點：131室

同學可以自己預備扭計骰，喺以上時段到119室參加比賽。我哋會隨機抽出三個扭計骰嘅組合，而同學就要喺最短時間之內將扭計骰還原。最後，我哋會記錄低三輪所用嘅平均時間，再按長短進行排名。平均用時最短嘅三位同學，就可以獲得神秘大獎；就算攞唔到獎，都可以拎到參賽紀念品 扭計骰鎖匙圈一個。

想要參加嘅同學，就記得喺 28/1 23:59 之前填好下面份 Google Form 報名喇：

聖誕快樂！我哋數學學會為大家準備咗一份特別嘅聖誕禮物--就係大家期待已久嘅reference list 啦！ 呢份reference list 包含咗你哋喺數學考試中需要用到嘅references, 大家可以喺linktree查閱。

請同學留意，基於DSE課程大綱的變動，reference list 有2個版本。只有俾中一至中四嘅同學嘅 version 包含角平分線和垂直平分線的定理。

Season's greetings! As a token of appreciation for your hard work, the Society of Mathematical Studies have a special Christmas gift for you. We're thrilled to provide all of you with a reference list. 

This list includes all the references you will have to use in your Mathematics Examination. Please kindly refer to linktree for the gift. 

Please be reminded that due to the changes of the syllabus of DSE curriculum, there will be 2 versions of the reference list. Only the one for f1 to f4 includes theorems about angle bisector and perpendicular bisector.

每個月嘅二十號，我哋會喺IG同學校Gmail上傳當月嘅網上問題，而各位同學可以通過Google Form 或者 Instagram Inbox send你嘅解答俾我哋。提交期限係下一個月嘅十號。例如第一條問題喺 11 月 20 日發放，咁我哋就會喺 12 月 10 日 23 : 59 起唔再接受回應。提交答案之後，我哋會將答案透過電郵發送比回答問題既所有同學，並會附上一啲我哋寫嘅評語。

如果你做到起碼一條題目，就可以過嚟 4D 或者 5A 班房搵我哋攞一份小零食！

而今期嘅QA，就係「將軍飲馬」專題喇！同學們不妨先讀一讀「將軍飲馬」嘅做法，之後自己嘗試吓後面嘅題目。做唔曬都唔緊要，同我哋一起討論都得。做完嘅同學，可以通過呢條 link 提交答案 :

On the 20th of every month, we will post some questions on Instagram and school Gmail. You can send your attempts and steps to us by Google Form or IG inbox. The deadline of submission is the 10th of next month. E.g., if the first QA is released on 20/11, then we won’t accept responses after 12/10 23:59. After sending your answers, we will give you some comments and the answer.



Those who solve at least one question successfully, come to class 4D or 5A, find our committee member, and take a snack from us!

The QA #1 this month is about “the problem of a general drinking horse”! You can read the solution to “the problem of a general drinking horse”, and have a try on the questions. Even if you cannot finish the question, you can send it and discuss it with us. Those who have completed can submit your response by the following link:

不知不覺間，已經黎到今個學年嘅最後一條題目 la，好多謝各位過去幾個月對呢個系統嘅支持 🎉😊

今次嘅題目有關 Polynomial 同 Remainder/Factor Theorem，適合中四/已經預習相關課題嘅中一至中三同學試做 👍

一如以往，題目以及 google form 連結可以喺我哋嘅 linktree 上搵到，有興趣參與嘅同學請按照 google form 上嘅指示提交答案，我哋會喺5月13日後將 Feedback 及 Solution 發送比所有參加者。

本年度七條題目已全部發放，如果同學睇番舊 post， 有興趣攞番個別題目嘅 Solution，依然歡迎大家透過 IG/FB dm 聯絡番我哋 :))

Our annual Open Days (2021) are going to take place on the upcoming Friday and Saturday! We have devised a wide variety of intriguing activities for you all, namely feature talks and real-time quizzes. [網上數學問答系統 # 6]

今個禮拜嘅問題牽涉 binomial theorem/mathematical induction 同埋 combinatorics 等課題，主要設計畀中四五同學 👍 當然亦都歡迎學過相關課題嘅初中同學挑戰一下 😉

一如以往，題目以及 google form 嘅連結可以喺我哋嘅 linktree 上搵到，有興趣參與嘅同學請按照 google form 上嘅指示提交答案，我哋會喺 4 月 29 日後將 Feedback 及 Solution 發送比所有參加者。
