【精彩回顧】深圳市龍華區教育局於星期一帶領深圳中學生活動團隊到訪「嶺大賽馬會樂齡科技體驗館」，深入了解香港樂齡科技的最新發展。活動期間，嶺大健康相關碩士課程學生黃歡歡同學，向中學生分享了照顧認知障礙症患者的需要。中學生們亦發揮創意，就創新安老服務提出了許多新穎的想法。💡

[Event Highlights]
A delegation from the Shenzhen Longhua District Education Bureau visited the LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab on Monday to gain a deeper understanding of the latest developments in Hong Kong's gerontechnology.
During the visit, Hilary Huan, a SAG master programme student from Lingnan University shared the key needs involved in caring for individuals with dementia. The high school students also put their creativity into action, pitching innovative ideas and suggestions for future elderly care services.💡

[精彩回顧］嶺大樂齡科技團隊於7月16日獲「公益慈善研究院」與「廣州粵港澳大灣區社會組織合作發展中心」的邀請，參與「灣社同行：粵港澳大灣區社會融合服務協同發展推進會」。
聯同嶺大學生的參與，團隊在會上分享了嶺大賽馬會樂齡科技體驗館的實踐社會服務，探討如何透過科技推動跨代共融與樂齡生態圈的發展。✨

LUGTSA team was delighted to attend the "Cooperative Development Forum on GBA Social Integration Services" alongside students from Lingnan University and had the privilege of presenting the practical case studies of the "LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab" on 16 July 2026.✨

[活動回顧］ 感謝香港科技大學創業中心團隊今天帶領約70位來自亞洲不同地區的學生，到訪嶺南大學樂齡科技體驗館！

很高興能由我們的樂齡科技大使及嶺大初創學生，向大家分享樂齡科技在日常生活中的實際應用。在交流過程中，聽到不同背景學生的想法與分享：「不論修讀什麼專業，只要有愛心和興趣，每位同學都能發揮創意，為長者用心設計出貼心的樂齡用品。」🩷

（An Event Recap) A big thank you to the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center team for bringing around 70 students from across Asia to visit the LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab today!

It was a pleasure to have our Gerontech Ambassadors and Lingnan startup students share the practical applications of gerontech in daily life. We were especially inspired by the diverse perspectives and ideas shared by the students: “Empathy and passion show that anyone, from any academic background, can innovate and design meaningful solutions for seniors."🩷

嶺大團隊很高興獲教育局邀請，參與於週六(6月27日）的「學與教博覽」中的「設計思維 × 社會創新：探索學生創新方案體驗學習工作坊」。👍🏻

我們的樂齡科技大使及碩士課程學生，聯同與
教師及社區人士等跨界別持份者合作，一同參觀並評審中學生的創新樂齡展品，為他們的創意方案進行評分。

感謝教育局的邀請，讓團隊與新一代社會創新者分享樂齡設計的想法及進行交流！💭

We were excited to have our LU Gerontech Ambassadors and Master Programme students to the HMSC Innovation Hub at the Learning & Teaching Expo 2026 on 27 June 2026!👍🏻

Invited by the Education Bureau, our team joined the “Design Thinking × Social Innovation” workshop. Alongside teachers and community members, our team collaborated to evaluate and score innovative secondary school student exhibits.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share gerontechnology expertise and mentor the next generation of social innovators. 💭Thank you to the Education Bureau for the invitation!

【好消息！】賽馬會樂齡科技與智友安居計劃榮獲「香港十大優質社會服務計劃」殊榮！🏆
項目於 2022 至 2025 年間，由嶺南大學聯同鄰舍輔導會及仁愛堂共同推行，致力將樂齡科技融入長者生活。由鄰舍輔導會代表申請參與由國際獅子會中國港澳三〇三區舉辦的第八屆《香港十大優質社會服務計劃選舉》，項目榮獲得獎此殊榮。

項目在過去三年中，單是鄰舍輔導會的社區教育及家訪評估服務就接觸了超過 8,000 人次！
計劃更成功培訓了 126 名義工及年輕人成為「樂齡科技大使」，透過科技應用提升長者的生活質素，同時促進跨代共融。感謝跨界別及不同持份者的努力，推廣樂齡科技！👵👴💡

【Great News!】The "Jockey Club Gerontechnology and Smart Ageing in Place" project has been honored as one of the "Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Community Services"! 🏆
Jointly implemented by Lingnan University alongside The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council (NAAC) and Yan Oi Tong between 2022 and 2025, the project is dedicated to integrating gerontechnology into the daily lives of the elderly. Represented by the NAAC, the project was submitted to the 8th Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Community Services Selection organized by Lions Clubs International District 303 - Hong Kong & Macao, China, and successfully won this prestigious award.

A huge thank you to all cross-sector partners and stakeholders for their hard work in promoting gerontechnology! 👵👴💡

【精彩活動回顧】今天五旬節于良發小學超過一百位師生到訪嶺大賽馬會樂齡科技館參觀交流。👏🏻
活動期間，師生們深入了解如何為認知障礙症長者提供適切的社區照顧，並認識了多款樂齡科技工具，探討如何運用科技提升長者及照顧者的生活質素。

【An Event Recap】Over 100 primary students and teachers from Pentecostal Yu Leung Fat Primary School visited the Gerontech-X Lab today! 👏🏻 During the visit, the student team learned about community care support for elderly individuals with dementia and explored gerontechnology designed to enhance the quality of life for both older adults and caregivers.

It was a great pleasure to join the Lingnan University Gerontech Ambassadors and our Master’s students in participating in the STEAM Learning Programme at HKSKH Bishop Hall Secondary School this morning. Through understanding the interdisciplinary curriculum of the secondary school, our LU team and the high school students explored gerontechnology together, while also fostering meaningful intergenerational exchange! 😉
