📊 樂齡科技及健康數據應用講座: 嶺大邀請了樂齡科技公司-嘉榮醫療介紹智能手錶、智能戒指等，以及健康科技在生活中的實際應用。
⌚ 樂齡科技產品試用體驗: 下午嶺大賽馬會樂齡科技體驗館開放日讓參加者即場試用樂齡科技，並與樂齡科技大使交流。

Event Highlights: The LU Gerontech Team successfully held the Open Day event on 17-April, welcoming public to explore the latest developments in gerontechnology through the interactive workshop and seminar with hands-on experiences. ✨

🤖 AI Mobile Application Workshop: Designed and facilitated by students, this workshop guided participants to discover how AI tools can be seamlessly integrated into everyday life.

📊 Gerontechnology & Health Data Application Seminar: Lingnan University invited a gerontechnology company to introduce the latest innovations such as smart watches and smart rings, as well as the practical applications of health data and technology in daily living.

⌚ Hands-on Gerontechnology Experience: During the afternoon Open Day session, participants had the opportunity to try out gerontechnology firsthand and interact with Gerontech Ambassadors, gaining deeper insights into their functions and benefits.

除了開放日活動當天上午還有一場由學生設計與策劃的工作坊，帶領參與者探索 AI 工具如何融入日常生活。
而當日下午更邀請到樂齡科技公司到場講解及試用最新的樂齡科技產品（包括智能手表及智能戒指等樂齡科技）。
參加者可與專業團隊互動，即場感受產品功能和效益。

【Event Recap: Gerontechnology Symposium 2026 💡】
Lingnan University and HKSTP co-organized a half-day symposium this morning and explored the journey of gerontech, from initial concept to sustainable impact. With 120+ participants, we discussed from initial concept and incubation to practical community application, and examined how technology-driven solutions can directly address the evolving needs of our older adults.

Intergenerational Event Highlights 🌟
The School of Graduate Studies, Lingnan University hosted an Intergenerational Exchange Activity at the LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab today (on 6-March)! Through memories of classic Hong Kong snacks, students from different parts of the world gained a deeper understanding of Hong Kong culture. Our senior ambassadors shared stories of Hong Kong’s history and cultural heritage with the students. Everyone came together to experience and savour those special Hong Kong stories!🍜❤️

[Event Highlights]
Today, we host undergraduate students from Lingnan University (LU) for a hands-on experience at the LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab. Through the interaction, students gained a deeper understanding of how Gerontechnology provides comprehensive support for the daily lives of older adults.

The session was led by our dedicated intergenerational team. The guiding team included:
·Our professional Gerontech Ambassadors
· Student interns from Lingnan University (LU), Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and Vocational Training Council (VTC)

The visiting students explored and personally tested innovative products across five key areas: Healthcare, Dining, Living, Transport, and Exercise. From precision health monitoring devices and assistive dining tools to smart solutions for home safety and community mobility, students actively discussed how to apply their expertise to the field of elderly care

由香港青少年服務處賽馬會麗城綜合青少年服務中心帶領社區小學生於2月12日從荃灣到訪嶺大賽馬會樂齡科技體驗館，展開一場充滿探索精神的學習之旅！同學們透過講座認識樂齡科技及認知障礙症，打開對相關議題的新視野；在樂齡科技大使的帶領下，更親身體驗「醫、食、住、行」四大範疇的創新科技工具，邊學邊試，感受科技如何為生活帶來便利與支持。

Primary school students, led by the Jockey Club Belvedere Integrated Children and Youth Services Centre of Hong Kong Children & Youth Services, visited the LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab in Lingnan University on 12 February for an engaging learning experience! Through an educational talk, students learned about gerontechnology and dementia, gaining a better understanding of these topics. Guided by our Gerontech Ambassadors, they also had hands-on experience with innovative tools across the four key areas of daily living — Healthcare, dining, living and transport. By trying out the technologies themselves, they discovered how gerontechnology can bring greater convenience and support to everyday life.

東華三院鄺錫坤伉儷中學的同學於2月11號到訪嶺大賽馬會樂齡科技體驗館。學生們在「樂齡科技與認知障礙症」教育講座中認識了認知障礙症及樂齡科技的概念與應用，隨後走進體驗館參觀，並親身體驗多款樂齡科技產品，從實際接觸中感受科技如何融入生活。

Students from TWGHs Mr & Mrs Kwong S*k Kwan College visited the LU Jockey Club Gerontech X-Lab on 11 February. During the educational session on “Gerontechnology and Dementia”, students learned about dementia and the concepts and applications of gerontechnology. They then visited the X-Lab, trying out various gerontechnology products to see how technology can be integrated into daily life.
