✨🌏 A wonderful afternoon of entrepreneurship, innovation, and cross-cultural exchange at HKBU! 🚀💡

Last Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome students from the Entrepreneurship Club of Korea Nazarene University 🇰🇷 to HKBU! 🎉

The delegation visited Village CARE 🏡, the Academy of Music 🎵, and StarHub 🚀 to learn more about student accommodation, the University's latest facilities, SEN education support, creativity, and entrepreneurship on campus.

💬 One of the highlights of the visit was the Start-up Sharing Session, where Nazarene University students showcased their entrepreneurial projects and exchanged ideas with our students.

🎲 We were also excited to have JoyLink Board Game join us to share their start-up journey, entrepreneurial experiences, and innovative business ideas. Their story inspired participants to think creatively and pursue their own entrepreneurial dreams.

🤝 The afternoon concluded with a lively networking session, providing a valuable opportunity for students from Hong Kong and Korea to connect, learn from one another, and build new friendships.

💙 A huge thank you to Village CARE, the Academy of Music, and JoyLink Board Game for their generous support in making this visit such a meaningful and memorable experience.

Yumi joined her current company through our STEM Internship Scheme. Instead of routine tasks, her employer threw her straight into core development sprints. This year’s CUPP brings together global talent and innovative minds from 12 local universities and countries across Central Asia and ASEAN. Students will receive training in AI, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Data Science, and will join an entrepreneurship boot camp at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) – a global leader in innovation education.
Supported by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority & Cyberport Academy, CUPP 2026 offers hands-on mentorship, exposure to FinTech sectors, and a chance to pitch for seed funding and join the Cyberport Incubation Programme. Our HKBU teams are ready to shine and create impactful digital solutions!

Interested in art education? Love hanging out and creating with children? Then you won’t want to miss this!

M+ Museum is looking for students who aspire to deliver art and cultural programmes for children. Selected volunteers will participate in the ‘Children Summer Takeover: Creative Day Camp’ this July.

🎁 What will you gain from being the volunteer?
🔸Volunteers will gain unique opportunities to collaborate with the M+ team, artist-instructors, and educators.
🔸Volunteers will get hands-on and behind-the-scenes experience of the ‘Children Summer Takeover: Creative Day Camp’.
🔸Volunteers will also be able to meet other young talents from diverse backgrounds.
🔸Transportation allowance and a reference letter will be provided for volunteers.

🔎What qualifications do you need to participate?
🔹A local tertiary student or recent graduate (priority will be given to those with a background in early childhood education, education, or related disciplines on disciplines on child development)
🔹Interested in art and cultural programme development and engagement with children
🔹Open-minded and eager to learn, explore, and collaborate
🔹Able to communicate in Cantonese and English
