This page is created to celebrate the life of a great mentor who impacted on numerous young ladies for over half a century.

Sr Ida Sala (1922-2014) dedicated herself to education in Hong Kong for over half a century :
- taught at St Mary's Canossian College from 1958 to 1966
- served as Principal of Sacred Heart Canossian College from 1966-1973
- returned to St Mary's in 1979 as Principal and served until 1991

She has no doubt impacted the lives of many St Marians and Sacred Heartists. We miss you dearly, Sr Ida!

One year on.
Same day last year, our dear Sr Ida Sala returned to the heavenly home in peace. She has inspired numerous Canossian girls and her impact will continue to last, and be passed on to further generations.
