𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝘇 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻, Karen Lo Eugene Chuang Professor in Diversity and Equity and Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty, recently shared a research story, “𝘼𝙄 𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙧. 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙐𝙨 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙅𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙄𝙩.” on The HKU Lead.

While AI can support learning by offering practice, explanations and efficiency, Professor Jackson points out that education is fundamentally about wisdom, judgement, and human relationships. From this view, AI may be understood as a tool to enhance learning, with human experiences remaining central to how we learn to think, relate, and grow.
