My baby Alvis👦🏻 & Katrina👧🏻 are doing their weekly exercise of ‘Reading Aloud’.

課堂上Khalif準備了一本閱讀理解，每一堂小朋友都要完成1-2個Reading Exercise，而小朋友都可以好輕鬆咁完成。

內容及生字不複雜，但係點解Khalif堅持要小朋友完成呢個練習呢？

係非常之重要架👩🏻‍🏫

小朋友嘅讀物裡面，我地會見到有大約70% 🔔Sight Words 🔔，即使係大人嘅閱讀物，內容有大約50%左右都係🔔Sight Words🔔。

🔔Sight Words🔔係常見字，本身不算複雜，但係有好多都比較抽象，例如in, of, off 等等。 如果單獨一個字，好難令小朋友明白佢嘅意思同埋作用。但當將佢地放入句子之後，小朋友就可以從句子嘅情境中去理解呢啲字嘅意思同埋作用喇，唔需要死背硬記。

呢本Reading Exercise 📚 嘅設計，并非著重提供Vocabulary，係為左俾小朋友可以加強佢地對Sight Words嘅認知。小朋友睇完之後，Khalif 更會撰選其中一些適合小朋友年齡，而且常用嘅句形，同小朋友一齊作句。

一齊讀👀一齊寫📝，認識左Sight Words，慢慢小朋友嘅閱讀能力就會愈來愈進步架喇。 👍🏻👍🏻🥳

My good boy has made his little story sharing fun with the ‘Oh, it’s actually the Halloween!’ Such a plot twist😂😂

Looking at your face and doing the story telling without my helps.
I remember this little one during his first few months..
He keeps saying,
“I don’t know...’
‘I can’t do it..’
‘No,Khalif...’

I cannot be more proud seeing you coming to class and running to me with your smiling faces though you are wearing 🎭 masks(I just can tell my kids are smiling without or with the masks)

Such a pity that the battery is dead and I am mot able to capture the whole presentation.

But I’m sure there’s more to come.
