This week’s Form 1 Summer Bridging Program was packed with excitement! In addition to attending personal growth sessions led by our school social workers to build confidence and team spirit, students turned into "little pilots" during the STEAM class, experiencing what it’s like to operate a flight simulator!
It was wonderful to see everyone fully focused on navigating flight paths and completing challenging missions, showing incredible concentration and curiosity. We hope our students will continue to press forward and soar to new heights in the days ahead!

In the recently concluded inter-school sports season, our student-athletes achieved outstanding results across various competitions through their fearless drive and remarkable team spirit. Standing out among hundreds of secondary schools across Hong Kong, our school proudly won 8th Place in the Coed Schools Division (Bronze Cup) under the Laurel School Award, presented by the Jockey Club Student Athlete Recognition Scheme!
The Laurel School Award is the highest annual honor recognizing secondary schools in Hong Kong for their overall excellence in inter-school sports events. The awards are based on the overall territory-wide ranking derived from the total points accumulated by each school across all inter-school sports competitions throughout the academic year. This honor is not only a recognition of individual sports achievements, but also the highest praise for our school’s overall sports development and our athletes' unwavering perseverance!

在剛剛落幕的學界體育賽季中，本校運動員憑著無畏無懼的拼勁與極高的團隊精神，於各項賽事中屢創佳績。最終，本校在全港數百所中學中脫穎而出，勇奪由賽馬會優秀運動員獎勵計劃頒發的 「凱旋盃」男女校組別銅盃第八名！

Congratulations to our student, Cheuk Chon Hei, for winning the runner-up spot in the recently concluded Netherlands leg of the tournament!
Looking back at this European trip, the journey was full of challenges. Facing a severe European heatwave, Chon Hei unfortunately suffered heatstroke and a high fever, followed by a crash, unexpected itinerary changes, and a flat tire. However, these immense difficulties could not dampen his passion and perseverance for cycling. With unyielding determination, he overcame every obstacle to achieve this fantastic result!
Up next, Chun Hei will represent the Hong Kong team at the National U-Series Youth Road Cycling Championships from August 20 to 25. Let us all cheer him on and look forward to another outstanding performance in the upcoming competition! 💪🇭🇰🎉

Besides the handicraft workshops, our Form 1 Summer Bridging Program also featured a thrilling Darts Experience Workshop! Under the coach's guidance, students learned throwing techniques and jumped straight into an exciting group competition! The venue was filled with cheers as students showcased great focus and precision, made new friends, and demonstrated fantastic teamwork!

Our school's Health Management and Social Care subject was recently invited to participate in the "Innovative Solutions to Promote Community Health" Showcase organized by the Education Bureau! The event aimed to highlight students' inventions and achievements in health and social innovation, as well as outstanding outcomes from their field learning experiences.
During the two main segments of the "Student Achievement Showcase on Health and Social Innovation Solutions," our students earned double recognition thanks to their stellar performance and innovative thinking: Bronze Award in Field Learning Design & Bronze Award in the Innovative Solutions Category.
We hope our students will continue to stay engaged with community health, harness technology and creative thinking, and contribute to building a better community!

【Deep Learning Week Exchange Tour Series ④: Nature's Palette! Australia Art and Nature Exploration Journey 🎨🦘】
Our school's "Australia Art Tour" students embarked on an art exploration journey in Tasmania, beautifully blending nature and creativity! On this pure land, students deeply explored several natural wonders, including the picturesque Wineglass Bay, the mysterious and deep underground limestone caves of Mole Creek Karst National Park, and the magnificent Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Immersed in glacial landforms and primeval forests, students cleansed their minds while drawing inspiration for their creative works.
The two major highlights of the itinerary brought immense rewards to everyone. First, students visited Bonorong Wildlife, where they had close encounters with and learned about the conservation of Tasmania's unique wildlife. Afterwards, they traveled to the historic town of Richmond, where they sat peacefully by Australia's oldest Richmond Bridge for an outdoor sketching session, capturing the ancient sandstone architecture and tranquil scenery on paper. This journey perfectly combined art and nature, not only enhancing the students' sketching techniques but also profoundly inspiring their creative thinking!

【第三次深度學習週交流團系列④：大自然的調色盤！澳洲藝術與自然探索之行 🎨🦘】
我校「澳洲藝術團」的同學們早前於塔斯曼尼亞展開了一場結合大自然與創意的藝術探索之旅！在這片純淨的土地上，同學們深入探索了多個自然絕景，包括風景如畫的酒杯灣、神秘幽深的莫爾溪喀斯特國家公園地下鐘乳石洞，以及壯麗的搖籃山-聖佳爾湖國家公園。置身於冰河地貌與原始森林之中，同學們一邊洗滌心靈，一邊為創作汲取靈感。
行程的兩大精彩亮點更讓大家獲益匪淺。同學們首先到訪了 Bonorong Wildlife，近距離接觸並學習保育塔斯曼尼亞特有的野生動物；隨後前往洋溢著歷史氣息的里奇蒙小鎮，在澳洲最古老的里奇蒙橋旁靜心寫生，用畫筆將古樸的建築與靜謐的風景定格在畫紙上。這趟旅程完美結合了藝術與自然，不僅提升了同學們的寫生技巧，更深刻啟發了大家的創作思維！

【Deep Learning Week Exchange Tour Series ③: Focus and Breakthrough! Zhuhai Air Rifle Shooting Sports Training Tour 🎯🇨🇳】
From June 24th to 26th, over thirty of our students headed to Zhuhai for a three-day "Zhuhai Air Rifle Shooting Sports Training Tour"! This unique journey offered a well-rounded learning experience that seamlessly blended sports performance, technological exploration, and cultural enrichment.
The core focus of the trip was taking on the challenge of "air rifle" shooting training. Under the guidance of professional coaches, students started from scratch—learning firearm safety and the history of the sport before gradually mastering shooting techniques. This sport demands immense mental strength; through breath-holding, razor-sharp focus, and intense training sessions, our students effectively honed their concentration, self-discipline, stress management, and fine motor control. At the same time, they built deep, lasting friendships through supportive team-building activities.
Beyond the dynamic sports training, the tour significantly broadened the students' horizons in technology and culture. The group visited the Zhuhai Space Center to gain up-close insights into the country’s remarkable advancements in aerospace technology, experiencing the incredible power of national scientific research. They also toured the landmark Zhuhai Grand Theater, learning about the city's vital cultural and artistic development alongside its modern architectural aesthetics. This study tour not only enriched the students' life experiences but also greatly enhanced their sense of national identity, bringing home a wealth of knowledge and unforgettable memories!

【第三次深度學習週交流團系列③：專注與突破！珠海氣步槍射擊運動訓練之旅 🎯🇨🇳】
在 6/24 - 6/26 期間，我校三十多位同學前往珠海，展開了為期三天的「珠海氣步槍射擊運動訓練之旅」！旅程的核心重點在於挑戰「氣步槍」射擊訓練。在專業教練的指導下，同學們由學習槍械安全與射擊歷史文化開始，逐步掌握射擊技巧。這項運動極度考驗心理素質，同學們在屏息凝神的訓練中，有效鍛鍊了個人的專注力、紀律性、壓力管理以及對細微動作的精準控制；並在團隊合作活動中互相鼓勵，建立起深厚的友誼！
除了動感的體育訓練，考察團亦開拓了同學們的科技與文化視野。大家走訪了「珠海太空中心」，近距離認識國家航天科技的矚目發展，感受科研強國的魅力；隨後亦參觀了地標建築「珠海大劇院」，了解珠海市重要的文化藝術發展與現代建築美學。這次考察不僅豐富了同學們的閱歷，更大大提升了大家的國民身分認同，收穫滿載！

【Deep Learning Week Exchange Tour Series ②: Unlocking Seoul! Tourism and Hospitality Studies In-depth Exploration ✈️🇰🇷】
From June 29th to July 4th, over thirty of our Tourism and Hospitality Studies (THS) students flew to South Korea for an exciting "Seoul Tourism and Cultural Exploration Tour"! This journey brought classroom theories to life, allowing students to experience firsthand and decode the operational secrets of a global tourism hub.
The exploration focused on hotel management, restaurant classifications, theme parks, and the business models of major tourist attractions. The absolute highlight of the trip was the exclusive opportunity for students to engage in face-to-face exchanges with professionals from the Commercial Department of the Ramada Hotel! Through these insider real-world insights, students not only heard fascinating behind-the-scenes stories of hotel operations but also learned professional techniques for handling diverse guests, managing emergencies, and maintaining guest relations—gaining invaluable knowledge!
Furthermore, through meticulously designed inquiry-based field studies, students applied and tested their classroom concepts in real-time at Seoul's iconic landmarks. This practical, hands-on experience successfully inspired them to bridge the gap between theory and practice, laying a solid foundation for their future academic pursuits and career development!

【第三次深度學習週交流團系列②：解密首爾！旅遊與款待科深度考察 ✈️🇰🇷】
在 6/29 - 7/4 期間，我校三十多位旅遊與款待科的同學飛赴韓國，展開了一場精彩的首爾旅遊與文化考察團！這趟旅程將課堂理論帶進現實，讓同學們親身體驗並解密國際旅遊都市的營運密碼。
考察團聚焦於酒店管理、餐廳分類、主題公園以及各大旅遊景點的營運模式。旅程的最大亮點，莫過於同學們獲得了與 Ramada Hotel 商業部專業人士的面對面交流機會！透過行內人的實戰分享，同學們不僅聽到了許多酒店營運的趣事，更深入學習了業界應對不同旅客、處理突發事件與顧客關係的專業技巧，獲益匪淺！
此外，同學們亦透過精心設計的探究式實地考察，在首爾各大地標景點中即時應用並驗證課堂所學的學科概念。這次「行萬里路」的實務體驗，成功啟發大家將理論與實踐完美結合，為未來的升學規劃與事業發展奠定了堅實的基礎！
