In preparation for DBSPD English Quiz 2, we will be offering:
1) Two Literature Studies revision sessions covering the syllabus for G1-5
2) Two mock papers for General English and Literature Studies for G1-5
in both our Causeway Bay and Mongkok centers.

The two LS Revision sessions (1.5 hour each with different content) will include review on the required chapters and poetry form, revision questions (long and short answers, fill in the blanks, multiple choice, True/False, SEE questions etc) and useful take-home notes for revision. Students may sign up to 1 or 2 revision sessions.

The two mock tests (1.5 hour each with different content) will cover both GE and LS. They are designed by our teachers using past papers as reference. Following the completion of the mock test, answers will be reviewed, and supplementary exercises will be provided for further revision. Students may sign up for 1 or 2 mock tests.

K3-Primary English Bridging Classes are open for registration!! 🥳🎉
The goal of this course is to help better prepare K3 students for the P1 English curriculum, focusing on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary building, spelling and writing technqiues.
We will also offer school-specific classes (e.g. DBSPD, DGJS, SPCC, St. Stephen’s) for students who want targeted help for the primary schools they will be enrolling in. Parents can choose to take 1 or 2 classes per week at our Mongkok or Causeway Bay centers.

This summer, students in our ‘Meet the Rabbit House’ course had the opportunity to visit Hong Kong Rabbit Society to meet the rabbits under their care.

Students learned all about what it takes to adopt a rabbit, including the daily responsibilities and costs involved. They explored case studies of abandoned rabbits to better understand why they can end up in unfortunate situations and why pet owners must think carefully before adopting an animal. At HKRS, the staff kindly answered questions that the students were curious about and allowed them to get close to the rabbits.

After the trip, each student was required to create an adoption ad for the rabbit of their choice using persuasive techniques like rhetorical questions, expert information, and appeal to emotions. They also got to design their own posters. At the end of the course, the students presented their ads to the class and received peer feedback!

Yesterday, our students visited 兔協 HKRS - 香港兔友協會 Hong Kong Rabbit Society with us to learn about abandoned rabbits and how to care for them! 🐰
