【🚨Say NO to S*xual Harassment🚨】

During orientation activities, it's important to be aware of s*xual harassment and to stand up against it by clearly saying NO🙅🏻‍♀🙅🏻‼

There are two types of s*xual harassment as defined under the S*x Discrimination Ordinance of Hong Kong:

1️⃣Person-to-person s*xual harassment
-A person's unwelcome conduct of a s*xual nature to another person, where an objective, reasonable person would have agreed that the conduct is offensive, humiliating or intimidating.
E.g.
❌Inappropriate touching by your groupmate
❌Group leaders sending you pornographic images/videos/texts on social media
❌ExCo asking you questions about your s*x life

2️⃣S*xually hostile/intimidating environment
- A person's conduct of s*xual nature which creates a s*xually hostile or intimidating environment for another person, even though the behaviour is not consciously targeted at an individual.
E.g.
❌Organisers delivering s*xually-suggestive games in orientation camp
❌Making s*xual jokes in WhatsApp Group

If you suspect that you are being harassed… 🆘
✅ Say NO. Let others know the behaviour is unwelcome and must be stopped immediately.
✅ Record details (e.g. date/ time/ venue/ witness)
✅ Seek advice or assistance from CEDARS and Equal Opportunity Unit (EOU)
✅ Lodge a report to CEDARS or a complaint to EOU

💡Report any S*xual Harassment Case to CEDARS through our ✨𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀✨
