Part of our robotics training is teaching students exactly how and when to use different SPIKE sensors. In this specific task, learners first master using the color sensor to follow a line. Once they unlock that logic, we incorporate the distance sensor to make their robot even smarter! The goal is for the robot to navigate around an obstacle and seamlessly catch the black line again.

Our Ms. Jamey needed a radius ruler for her design work, so what is better than 3D printing the ruler itself? We found this great model on MakerWorld that gives us a ruler to measure both the inner radius and outer radius. π
However, Ms. Jamey didnβt really like its original keychain design... so she went ahead and remade it to work perfectly with LEGO! Now it integrates right into our building ecosystem. π€π€π
What do you think of this custom upgrade? π

This week, we explored the mechanics of a walking base using LEGO Education SPIKE Prime. Itβs amazing to see the creativity in the lab as our students took a standard walker model and engineered it into their own unique animals.π¦Ύπ¦π
What animal would you build with a walking motor base? ποΈβ¨

In our Regular Robotics classes, we dive deep into themes like Sports, Inventions, and Robotics Animals. π¦Ύπ¦
Check out this amazing build by our student, Q! He created a Crocodile Robot that actually responds to objects in its path. Itβs not just about the build; itβs about understanding the sensor logic to make the βsnapβ happen at just the right time! ππ¨
We love seeing our students take a concept and make it their own.
What are your favorite βgo-toβ builds for robotics animals? Let us know below! π

Our Foundation students have been perfecting their Basketball π models, while our G1-2s mastered the Fishing Game π£. Meanwhile, the G3-5s were deep into Maze Running π€ logic.
Itβs been a busy week as usual, and now we are gearing up for the weekend rush at the center! π
P.S. If you loved these builds, our Summer Workshop 2026 is officially open for registration! Weβll be taking these concepts to the next level. βοΈπ§±
