Here is another building idea for all the builders and STEM instructors out there! 💃🕺🦾

This is a Double Dancer model using the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime set. The single dancer model is a classic project in the SPIKE Prime app, but a great way to challenge your students is to ask them to build a second dancer.

It might not always be perfect on the first try, but seeing students take ownership and apply their knowledge to their own ideas is what learning in Flip Creation is all about!

Another building idea using LEGO Education SPIKE Prime! 🎢 vertical drop zone!
To get this mechanics working, we added a pulley system with a rope to haul the ride all the way to the top. Once it reaches the top, it triggers a bell sound and drops straight down for that classic thrill ride experience! 🔔💥

Part of our robotics training is teaching students exactly how and when to use different SPIKE sensors. In this specific task, learners first master using the color sensor to follow a line. Once they unlock that logic, we incorporate the distance sensor to make their robot even smarter! The goal is for the robot to navigate around an obstacle and seamlessly catch the black line again.

Our Ms. Jamey needed a radius ruler for her design work, so what is better than 3D printing the ruler itself? We found this great model on MakerWorld that gives us a ruler to measure both the inner radius and outer radius. 📐

However, Ms. Jamey didn’t really like its original keychain design... so she went ahead and remade it to work perfectly with LEGO! Now it integrates right into our building ecosystem. 🤖🤖😅

This week, we explored the mechanics of a walking base using LEGO Education SPIKE Prime. It’s amazing to see the creativity in the lab as our students took a standard walker model and engineered it into their own unique animals.🦾🦁🐒

In our Regular Robotics classes, we dive deep into themes like Sports, Inventions, and Robotics Animals. 🦾🦁

Check out this amazing build by our student, Q! He created a Crocodile Robot that actually responds to objects in its path. It’s not just about the build; it’s about understanding the sensor logic to make the “snap” happen at just the right time! 🐊💨
