Shots don't have to be scary! 🦀

We like to sing the 🎶Silly Crab Song🎶 at the doctor's office twice - the first time, it's all silly and all play! The second time is when the doctor can slide in and perform the shot.

Children are sponges and can absorb the energy and feelings in a room. A calm energy from the caregiver can encourage a calm energy within the child! 🙌

Here are some tips to make this song super effective:
⭐Sing this song together at home for fun several times before your doctor's visit so the child associates it with a positive experience.
⭐ Play doctor for fun at home! This can provide children with the peace of mind of knowing what to expect.
⭐It's important that everyone in the room joins in on the fun - including the doctor!

To note: This is a fun tool you can try to support a positive experience at the doctor. But keep in mind that every child is unique and may require a different type of support in the moment.

We performed at American Dream in the United States!
