HKUST has continuous risen five places to number 32nd, published earlier this week by The QS World University Rankings 2020, a global organization specializing in higher education. Different criteria were taking account into for the rankings, namely the academic standing, employer reputation, citation per faculty, student-to-faculty ration, proportion of international faculty and student.

Congratulations to HKUST for being ranked No.1 in Hong Kong by the Times Higher Education (THE)’s latest Asia University Ranking 2019. In Asia, HKUST climbed up two spots to No.3 this year, thanks to its higher industry income and international outlook scores this year.

The MScIM/FA Program information session was hosted early this week, the room was filled with Financial and Investment professionals in the HKUST Business School, Central. The information session provided comprehensive aspects of the HKUST MScIM/FA Part-time program, which gave the prospective students an overview of the program, its’ uniqueness and the cutting-edge curriculum. Applicants were impressed by Prof. Peter MacKay’s sharing and to raise questions enthusiastically for preparing the FINAL PHASE admission. Glad to see so many alumni back to the HKUST campus last Saturday!

We were very excited to have over 30 MSc IM/FA alumni graduating from past 15 years gathered together at the first course-FinTech: Future of the Financial Industry of the MScIM/FA Inclusion Program. Our MScIM/FA alumni have gained more insight on the key developments and the impact of FinTech in the current industry from Prof. Hilton Chan, HKUST PhD alumnus and pioneer of FinTech and RegTech.
