Starting this 2017 academic year YC Stallions is again opening up its registration window. Are you looking to improve your English skills while traveling the world in international competitions such as the "World Scholars Cup" held in Singapore, Malaysia, Athens, and many other locations? Qualifying members even have the chance to attend the WSC Tournament of Champions held annually at the famous Yale University of America! We also regularly attend local events in Hong Kong - some of the most challenging in the world. We have a long team history here at Yew Chung, many experienced senior debaters, and hundreds of medals, trophies, and achievements.

Junior HKSDC: YCIS crashes into silver division quarter finals after winning the motion "THW hold football clubs responsible for the behaviour of their fans"

The YCIS Stallions have done it again! Over the weekend, 7 teams of juniors and seniors participated in the intense World Scholar's Cup, and they performed spectacularly, with 19 awards in total across the entire team.

Notable achievements include Sammy H Wang being awarded 6th place for Junior Individual Debater, a team of Sean Cheng, Sammy Wang, and Jason Wang achieving 11th place out of all contestants for total points, a team of Ryan Cheng, Tiffany Chan, and Matthew Wong achieving 7th place for Senior Team Writing, as well as Ching Laam Fung achieving 14th place for the DaVinci Award, recognizing scholars with the highest overall achievement.

To add to the list of awards that the teams have brought back, all 21 participants that went to the Local round of the World Scholar's Cup have either qualified or have been invited to participate and represent the school in the Global Round in Kuala Lumpur.

The Stallions have definitely earned a well-deserved rest for their excellent achievements.

Although the Stallions lost in the semis after giving it an excellent go, we're very excited to be supporting our friends at St. Paul's Convent School in their Grand Finals match!

The YCIS Stallions have moved in to the Semi-Finals of the Bar Association Debating Tournament by defeating Marymount Secondary School.

The Stallions have crushed Good Hope School at the HK Bar Association Debating Championship! They will be moving on to the Quarterfinals in April!

The HK Barristers' Debating Championship is coming up, and the Stallions are debating about national education in primary schools! Will they win their battle?

The Stallions will be doing battle at the University of Hong Kong in March for the Hong Kong Bar Association Debating Competition!
