è aperta a tutti quei bambini /ragazzi che hanno già una conoscenza dell'italiano parlato, le cui famiglie desiderino allargare le capacità di scrittura e la conoscenza generale della cultura italiana. Le materie insegnate sono Italiano, Storia e Geografia. Per quanto riguarda la lingua, gli obiettivi sono quelli di insegnare/mantenere le capacità ortografiche e grammaticali attraverso lo studio della grammatica e la composizione scritta e di implementare la lettura e la comprensione dei testi. La Storia e la Geografia vengono insegnate dalla terza elementare. La Storia si incentra sulle civiltà occidentali. La Geografia insegnata è quella dell'Italia e, dalla seconda media, dell'Europa. L'anno scolastico è composto da 30 sabati, distribuiti da settembre a giugno ed è diviso in due quadrimestri, alla fine dei quali viene consegnata una scheda di valutazione dello studente. A giugno viene inoltre consegnato un attestato di frequenza con profitto, firmato dal Console italiano e dal docente. I genitori che iscrivono i propri figli diventano automaticamente parte del comitato dei genitori. Questo Comitato si riunisce due volte all'anno, a inizio e fine anno scolastico, presso il consolato italiano, alla presenza del console e della direzione della scuola.

Manzoni Italian School offers supplemental courses of Italian language and culture, according to Law number 153 (March 1971). Manzoni School follows teaching programs for Primary and first grade Secondary School approved by Italian department for Education (ministerial orders September 1972 and May 1973). The courses are suitable for children from pre-grade (5 years old in December) to grade 8 (until 13/14 years old). Students should already speak Italian. Manzoni School has its teaching focus in writing and in extending knowledge of Italian culture. The subjects covered are Italian Language, History and Geography. Language abilities, as orthographic and grammatical skills, are developed through the study and application of rules and the study of vocabulary. Moreover a continual practice of written composition and text comprehension enhances student's correctness of speech. History and Geography are taught starting from grade 3. History program is focused on Western civilizations. Geography program is about Italy and, starting from grade 7, Europe. There are 30 Saturdays in a school year, from September to June, with two periods at the end of which a student report card is given in to parents. A certificate of attendance at a profit, signed by the Italian General Consul and the teacher, is given in together with the final report card in June. Parents who enroll their children become automatically part of Parents Committee. The Committee together with the Consul and the School Board converge twice a year, at the beginning and at the end of the school year. The place of the meeting is the Italian Consulate.
