A Rewarding Saturday at the Global Education Summit 2026 ✨🏫

Co-organised by HSBC Premier and SCMP Learn, the summit brought together an impressive line-up of educators at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on September 5. We were pleased to represent St Stephen’s College alongside leading Hong Kong universities, fellow DSS schools including DGS, HKUGA College and Ying Wa and international schools such as Harrow International School, VSA and ISF.

Throughout the day, our team had the opportunity to speak directly with parents and students exploring their next steps in education. These conversations went well beyond admissions checklists — touching on school culture, academic pathways, pastoral care, and what it truly means to find the right school community.

Our thanks to HSBC Premier and SCMP Learn for creating a platform that puts genuine dialogue at the heart of the education journey, and to every family who took the time to visit us. Helping students make confident, well-informed choices is at the core of what we do — and days like this are a valuable part of that work.

Congratulations, Class of 2025–26! 🎉

The results are in and we couldn’t be prouder. 🥳 Our DSE graduates are heading off to UCL, Durham, Tsinghua, PKU, HKU, CUHK, HKUST, PolyU and Sun Yat-sen University 🌍✨, among others.

But honestly? It’s not the university names that excite us most. It’s where our students are headed next. 🚀

Future computer scientists chasing AI breakthroughs 💻, doctors and radiographers preparing to care for others ⚕️, finance students ready to take on the markets 📈, a budding chemist driven to turn curiosity into discovery 🔬, a future maths teacher hoping to pay it forward 🏫, and an art therapist who wants to help people heal through creativity 🎨.

Six years ago, they walked in as kids. They’re leaving as scientists, healers, thinkers, artists and educators in the making. Each of them is following a dream entirely their own. 💫

Real education is never about producing one kind of student, or one definition of success. 🌱 It's about nurturing every kind of talent — in classrooms 📚, on the basketball court 🏀, in art studios, and through quiet moments of growth after every setback.

Big news, big brains, big congratulations! 👏

Harry Chung Ting Ho just landed one of only THREE spots across all of Hong Kong for the 2026 Dato Tong, Luis Charitable Foundation Scholarship from the University of Toronto (Hong Kong) Foundation. Yes, you read that right — Three. In all of Hong Kong. 🤯🇭🇰

Translation: Harry didn’t just win a scholarship — he out-scholared an entire city. 🏆

Soon he’ll be trading dim sum for maple syrup, MTR for the TTC, and humid summers for character-building Canadian winters. ❄️😅 But if anyone’s built to thrive at one of the world’s top universities, it’s Harry.

Our graduates have done it again — delivering another year of exceptional HKDSE results! 🌟

Around 80% of our Class of 2026 met the minimum 332A22 requirement for university admission, a true testament to their hard work, resilience and determination. They’re now set to pursue their passions in diverse fields including Medicine, Computer Engineering, Law, Finance, Economics, Fine Arts, Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Visual Arts, Education and many more. 🌍✨

🌟 Study Pathway Talk Recap 🎓✨

A massive THANK YOU to our wonderful PTA for organising such a fantastic Study Pathway Talk: Roadmap for Overseas Study — and to all the parents and students who came along to make it such a memorable afternoon! 🙌🌍 What a turnout, and what a buzz in the room! From curious juniors dreaming big to seniors eyeing the finish line 🏁, families across all year groups gathered for an afternoon packed with insights, inspiration and more than a few “aha!” moments. ✈️📚 Our wonderful speakers unpacked the latest university admissions trends, shared golden tips on navigating those (sometimes tricky 😅) conversations with your children about their future, and offered tailored consultations for popular destinations like the UK 🇬🇧 and Australia 🇦🇺. Judging by the overwhelmingly positive feedback that followed, it’s safe to say the night was a roaring hit! 🎉 Huge appreciation once again to our PTA for their tireless efforts behind the scenes 💚 and to everyone whose enthusiasm, thoughtful questions and generous reflections made this event truly shine. Rest assured, we’re already preparing the next one. 👀🚀
