Typhoon Sanvu (03) has intensified and currently has a sustainable wind speed of 140 km/hr at center. It now situates at 23N 139.6E. It is not expected to affect any landmass.

Severe Tropical Storm Sanvu (03w) had strengthened to a typhoon. It now situates at 19.9N 139.0E and has a sustainable wind speed of 120 km/hr. It is expected to continue moving poleward. It is not expected to affect Hong Kong

Tropical Storm Sanvu (03w) had strengthened to a severe tropical storm. It now situates at 16.4N 140.1E and has a sustainable wind speed of 100 km/hr at center. It is expected to cross 140.0E today and therefore would be reported by HKO soon. It is not expected to affect Hong Kong.

Tropical Storm Sanvu (03w) had continued to strengthen today. It now situates at 14.8N 142.3E. It has a sustainable wind speed of 85 km/hr. It is not expected to affect Hong Kong.
