[Hong Kong Inter-School Debate Tournament 2023]

The Hong Kong Inter-School Debate Tournament organized by our non-profit arm ARCH Community Outreach was successfully completed in late November! The two-day tournament, with the participation of 12 school teams, covered a wide range of economic and social topics, allowing the debaters to showcase their strengths in public speaking, critical thinking and teamwork.

Thank you for all the debaters whose hard work and enthusiasm made our first school-based debate tournament a success! Every school team did a great job by establishing persuasive, well-constructed arguments and delivering organized speeches. Congratulations again to all the winners and stay tuned for our next tournament!

Following the success of the first Hong Kong Debate Tournament held in May this year, we are honoured to invite students to participate in the Hong Kong Inter-School Debate Tournament on November 25 & 26, organized by our non-profit arm Community Outreach. The 2-day tournament will be an intense and unique experience for students to sharpen their wit and hone their skills as orators. Students will be engaged in discourse over social, economic, and ethical issues. Form school teams and enrol in this debate tournament where you and your teammates can further improve your debate and critical thinking skills!

[Careers Program 2023｜Welcome to the World of Work!]

“Every time I attended a workshop about a different career, I learned so much about the world,” said Sophie, one of 26 talented students who attended the Careers Program 2023. Dressed in suits sponsored by G2000HK, Careers Program participants set off on a journey to discover the fields of medicine, law, finance, technology, media, and ESG. Students are to attend a series of 10 workshops hosted by corporate and non-profit partners, including Allen & Overy LLP , Barclays, Equal Opportunities Commission, Gusto Collective, Intuitive Fosun, PAG, Smart Farming 愉富農科 , South China Morning Post , The Bank of East Asia and The Chinese University of Hong Kong 香港中文大學 - CUHK .

[Careers Program 2023｜Happy Learning – from Academic to Career Success!]

How do we bridge the gap between school and the workplace?

At Careers Program 2023, the theme of “Happy Learning” inspired participants aspiring to become young professionals. During our three-day program in May and June, students took part in interactive workshops led by ARCH Education teachers on the art of CV writing and building both critical thinking and interview skills. The Careers Program Mentoring Session featured seasoned finance and law professionals, and game-based training hosted by ACO alumni – “Job Shadowing 101” and “A Taste of the Future World of Work” – equipped students with the mentality and values to succeed in any field!

[Careers Program 2023｜Welcome to Our New Rising Stars!]

Our new Careers Program participants are finally here! More than 60 exceptional applicants from nearly 20 schools– a record high since the start of the pandemic – expressed interest in our program. Out of 60+, just 26 outstanding students stood out, passing intense screenings and interviews at Super Day, held on 26 Mar (Sun) at Barclays.

Thanks to Barclays and our Board of Directors and volunteers for helping to select the most qualified students from a pool of extremely strong candidates. We are grateful for your service during the Super Day interviews and for helping to nurture young talents!

Our appreciation also goes out to the ExCo of ACO Alumni Association! You demonstrated through your actions what giving back truly means. Thank you for positively impacting the next generation with the passion and drive to succeed!

We cannot wait to welcome our new Careers Program participants at Orientation on 21 May!

[Careers Program 2022｜Congratulations on your Graduation!]

Congratulations to the 26 participants who completed the ACO Careers Program 2022! They wrapped up their learning journey on Graduation Day on 11 September, offering engaging presentations on their takeaways in formal business attire sponsored by . Outstanding students received awards for their commitment and dedication to their Careers Program experience.

Special thanks to the ACO Board of Directors and volunteers who spent Sunday morning mentoring our bright students, and to the ACO Alumni Association for planning and preparing such a polished event. Thank you also to all 20 corporate workshop and job shadowing hosts and teaching team at ARCH Education for offering our students invaluable opportunities and incredible exposure. Your continued support is empowering the next generation to reach for the stars!
