🌊 P.6 Beach Clean Up Day – Making a Difference Together! 🌟
Our Primary 6 students took action for the planet today at Clearwater Bay Second Beach! As part of their "Sharing the Planet" PIE unit, they stepped out of the classroom and onto the sand to learn about plastic pollution in the most hands-on way possible.
🔍 What they did:
🧤 Whole-beach clean line – collecting trash as a team
🎨 Recycling Art – turning waste into creative messages
♻️ Tic Tac Toe Relay – fun with an eco-twist
🔬 Microplastic Sieving – seeing the invisible pollution up close
📊 Sorting, counting, and tallying – real-world data collection
With gloves, buckets, and big smiles, our students showed what it means to be environmental stewards. No sand was too hot, no plastic too small – they worked together, stayed safe, and made us proud.
💙 Thank you to our amazing teachers and staff for making this meaningful experience possible!
