The first skill of phonics is Letter-sound recognition, knowing the letters and sounds and saying them accurately.
Here, Clara and I are doing 'y' which is the 31st lesson. We always revise our previous letter-sounds and we can see that Clara has remembered them well.

Kico is only 4 but she understands the concept of short and long vowel sounds well. Here, we are going over the alternative spellings and learning 'y' as in 'my' or 'fly.

Anthea is now up to Jolly Grammar 2! We are using speech marks to write a dialogue and of course Anthea did brilliantly! We will continue writing dialogues and introduce more Dialogue Tags.
We are now taking bookings for new classes starting in September.
Classes can be booked between 8am and 10pm Monday to Friday. Weekend classes available too.

Jolly Phonics
Here, Carlos and I are doing the 'w' sound. He can pronounce the sound accurately and he is able to blend and segment with it. During the dictation, he needed some help and that is fine - dictation is a means of improving their skill, not a test.

Here, we are doing the long I sound written with the letter Y.
