We had a real fun time putting on a mini musical in 18 hours. Please enjoy excerpts from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Coat.

We shall be putting on another intensive drama over Easter: the hair raising adventure of Sherlock Holmes from 2nd April to 7th April. This show will give kids a chance to experiment with acting and video as we will be inter-cutting living acting with video clips.

Do join us.

Dear Friends of Eduarts,

Lynn and I are very pleased to let you know that we will be starting our Dining Room programme once again.

The Dining Room provides space for children of 4-10 years to discover their talent from hands on experience and for us at Eduarts to help them cultivate the talents that they have discovered.

Lynn and I have pleasure in inviting you to a Free-course tasting menu wherein your child can start to discover whether she is talented in writing, acting in a musical or in working on spatial projects.

We have endeavoured to find the caring and experienced tutors who are specialists in their fields to help your child develop her talents.

Please do join us on Saturday December 8th from 2-4pm. For full details please visit our website Eduarts.com.hk or contact Teresa Wong at 25201716 or [email protected]

Best,

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY DRAMA PROGRAMME - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

Andrew Lloyd Webber, famous for West End hits such as “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Cats”, began his career as a composer and producer of musicals with a humble 15 minute version of the story of Joseph from the Book of Genesis. It was written as a favour for a friend who was Head of Music at a school in London. The year was 1969.

Since then, it has grown to become a hugely popular musical performed on professional and school stages alike!

Joseph, as his father Jacob’s favourite child, is given a beautiful colourful coat much to the jealousy of his eleven brothers. They sell him into slavery to passing traders and pretend that he is dead to their father.

Eventually through much suffering and time in jail, Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams sees him rise to become the second most powerful position after the Pharoah of Egypt.

When Joseph’s brothers, starving from a famine come to beg for help, will this be Joseph’s chance for revenge at last? Or will he forgive them and reunite with his father?

Join us this Christmas to learn this age-old story of faith, perseverance in the face of adversity, with a bit of West-End song and dance included!
