Eduarts® In-House Courses
Eduarts® runs a strictly limited number of high-level, intensive in-house
programmes.
*Eduarts®’ Gifted Programme in Arts and Humanities
Since 2005, we have been offering this unique enrichment programme for higher- order thinking through the arts and humanities for children from ages 5 upwards. The program is led by our founder, Dr Vicki Ooi and is partnered by Dr Ka
therine Kot, an experienced clinical psychologist. Together they identify gifted and talented children, their levels and domains of giftedness, and devise stimulating and challenging programmes according to their needs. Call us to arrange a visit and an initial interview.
*Eduarts® Holiday Intensive Drama Programme
Each Easter, Summer and Christmas holiday, kids aged 5 – 15 can join us for a uniquely intensive week of drama. Spend 18 hours with our drama teachers and director to:
- discover a new classic story / novel each time
- learn to act / sing / dance and remember your lines / movements
- develop teamwork skills
- be part of a full production that includes lights, sets, costumes and make-up!
*The Dining Room®
The Dining Room® is a novel approach to learning that exposes children to all the core elements of the visual arts, music and drama in one course. Students work in small groups to conceive and execute a project on a given theme, taught through a multi-disciplinary approach and exhibited or performed to family and friends at the end of each term. Each weekly session ends with high tea in which students gather to discuss their works-in-progress with each other, whilst at the same time acquiring and practicing social skills and etiquette.
