Miraculous Journey @ HKUST | Jeena Zhang ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ƒ

When the stage lights come on, what comes to your mind? โœจ

For Jeena, it's the countless hours of practice, the friendships built through shared passions, and the growth she has experienced at HKUST.

Driven by her love for K-pop, Jeena joined the HKUSTSU Dance Society. Through dance classes and performances, she has continually challenged herself, refined her skills, and formed lasting friendships with people from diverse backgrounds who share her love of the stage.

Beyond dance, music has also been a constant companion throughout her university journey. From a ca****la performances and singing competitions organized by student groups to the public piano at LG5 and the free practice rooms on campus, HKUST has given her countless opportunities to stay connected to the music she loves.

At HKUST, Jeena has not only developed her interests but also found a platform to share her passions and let her dreams shine. For Jeena, HKUST is more than a place of learning. It is a place where interests can be developed, passions can be nurtured, and students are encouraged to explore their potential. โœจ

And this is Jeena's Music and Dance Miraculous Journey at HKUST. ๐Ÿ’ซ

Miraculous Journey @ HKUST | Ryan Cheung ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ“š

Many miraculous journeys begin with a dream. โœจ

For Ryan, that dream extends across both the swimming pool and the classroom.

Admitted to HKUST through the Student Athletes Admissions Scheme (SAAS), Ryan is both an Accounting student and a competitive swimmer. Balancing more than 25 hours of training each week alongside a demanding academic workload has taught him an important lesson: Excellence is not about being perfect. It's about showing up, persevering through challenges, and giving your best every day.

Competing at the highest levels in Asia has strengthened his discipline, resilience, and determination. Along the way, Ryan has learned that pushing your limits is not about constantly forcing yourself forward. Rather, it's about finding the right balance between hard work and recovery, and trusting that every effort contributes to your growth.

At HKUST, Ryan continues to push his boundaries in the pool while embracing opportunities beyond the classroom.

And this is Ryan's miraculous journey at HKUST. ๐Ÿ’ซ
