CAES CSS, Communication Support Services Zone R, The Learning Commons, Centennial Campus, HKU. Hello there! Find out more about the services we offer at https://www.caescss.hku.hk/.

We're Communication Support Services from CAES, and we provide out of language English language support to UGC-funded undergraduate and postgraduate students from HKU. We're a team of full-time Communication Advisors and part-time student Peer Consultants, as well as lecturers for the English Language Advising unit. CSS is divided into four units:
- The Writing Centre (WC) provides support for any writing related areas, such as university essays, CVs and cover letters, and writing sections of English proficiency tests.
- The Speaking Studio (SS) provides support for any speaking related areas, such as presentations, interviews, and speaking sections of English proficiency tests.
- The Digital Literacy Lab (DLL) provides support for any digital assignments, such as videos, posters and vlogs. For WC, SS and DLL, you can book a 30 minute, one-to-one consultation for personalized feedback. We also offer 1 hour workshops (WC & SS), where you can learn specialized skills, as well as 1 hour discussions (SS) for you to practice your conversational English.
