• Postgraduate and Year 2, 3, 4 and 5 undergraduate students with excellent communication skills.
• Students from all disciplines are welcome.

💬𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑰 𝒅𝒐 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝑷𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕?
• Writing Centre: Deliver four to six pre-booked 30-minute consultations
• VaDR programme: Run two hours of workshops per week
• You will also need to perform short administrative tasks, participate in professional development activities, and engage in promotional work.

If you have uploaded your assignment at least 1 day before the consultation, your tutor will upload a 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 to the booking system after the consultation. 📝 You may simply go to the slot page and download the file if you want to review the comments.

In addition to a feedback file, your tutor will also summarise the session in the ‘𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀’ section of the slot page. Sometimes, tutors will put 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 in the consultation notes, so be sure to check that out as well! 💻💡

🌟𝘼𝙣𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙧:
Our Presentation Clinic is designed for those who want to practise their 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in front of a real audience.

If you want to practice a 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, we recommend that you book a consultation and come in together with your groupmates.

If you’re working on a longer presentation (i.e. 15 minutes or more), you could consider 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸-𝘁𝗼-𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (i.e. 1 hour of consultation) 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿. This will allow sufficient time for practice and feedback. 📝
