L is for Lion. Our little Discoverers became hairdressers and gave the lion a new hairdo. They also assisted in reuniting the missing lion family, strengthening hand muscles and improving hand control by picking up, and sticking small pieces of the lion, lioness and cub.

The littles ones dived right into the cookie dough that was made up of flour, matcha powder, oil and water. The sticky, squishy , slightly greasy texture is unique - helping toddlers tolerate and interpret a wider range of tactile sensations.

Why is it beneficial to prolong crawling in babies?

Crawling plays a unique and critical role in brain and body development that walking doesn’t fully replicate. Babies who crawl longer tend to have better coordination, handwriting, read readiness, and even athletic performance later. Some experts suggest encouraging crawling until 15-18 months if the baby is happy doing it.

Inspired by the loving tale of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, we recreated the caterpillar's food adventure by feeding it a variety of food from colorful pastas to fruits and veggies. Working through dry and wet textures, we successfully raised the caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly.
