Socialization is essential for babies, not just for adults. 

In fact, the first three years are a critical window for developing social bonds, emotional regulation, and communication skills. While babies don't "play together" the same way older kids do, they are constantly learning social interactions through face to face time, shared attention on toys or books, and observing other's expressions, building the foundation to empathy, turn-taking and language.
