老師們在博覽會上參觀了多個展覽攤位，並出席相關講座和工作坊，深入探討如何以人為本的重塑教育模式，培養學生面對未來的核心能力。這次參與不僅有助提升老師們的專業發展，更能將所學帶回學校，進一步優化本校的教學質素，為同學提供更優質、具前瞻性和人文關懷的學習體驗。

Our School Teachers Participate in the “Learning and Teaching Expo 2026”

Our teachers actively participated in the “Learning and Teaching Expo 2026”, themed “Reimagining Education: People-centred and Future-ready”. Through this premier education platform in Asia, they exchanged the latest teaching philosophies, innovative technology applications, and strategies for enhancing learning and teaching with educators from various institutions.

Our teachers visited multiple exhibition booths and attended relevant seminars and workshops, where they explored in depth how to reimagine education with a people-centred approach to cultivate students’ core competencies for the future. This participation not only enhanced our teachers’ professional development, but also enabled them to bring valuable insights back to school. These will help further improve the quality of teaching at our school and provide students with higher-quality, forward-looking, and caring learning experiences.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participating teachers! The school will continue to support teachers’ professional growth and work together to promote quality education.

本校家長教師會與東華三院伍若瑜夫人紀念中學家長教師會於2026年6月20日（星期六）成功舉辦「親子體驗及參觀活動 - 馬灣挪亞學堂及1868文化藝術區」。

當日38位家長與同學一同前往馬灣挪亞方舟，首先前往挪亞學堂參加「微生態玻璃盆景製作工作坊」，了解玻璃生態盆景的運作模式及原理，學習從零開始建構及維持微型生態系統的平衡，發揮創意，親手製作獨一無二的生態盆景，感受大自然的氣息。
然後自由參觀馬灣1868文化藝術區，認識馬灣的文化保育、歷史建築與藝術發展。

活動中家長和子女認真投入、互相合作，不但促進精神健康，更大大增潤親子關係！家長們均認為活動達到預期目標，有助深化家校合作，不少家長表示非常有興趣再次參加同類型活動！感謝所有參與的家庭、兩校家長教師會及活動團隊的努力，讓是次活動得以順利圓滿舉行！

Shek Lei St. John’s Catholic Primary School Parent-Teacher Association and
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Mrs. Wu York Yu Memorial College Parent-Teacher Association successfully organised the “Parent-Child Experiential Learning Visit – Ma Wan Noah’s Ark Study Hall and 1868 Cultural & Arts District” on Saturday, 20 June 2026.

On that day, 38 parents and students visited Noah’s Ark at Ma Wan together. The group first participated in the “Miniature Ecosystem Glass Terrarium Workshop” at Noah’s Ark Study Hall. Participants learned about the operating principles of glass ecological terrariums, how to build and maintain the balance of a miniature ecosystem from scratch, and had the opportunity to unleash their creativity by designing and creating their own unique ecological terrariums, bringing them closer to nature.　After the workshop, participants freely explored the Ma Wan 1868 Cultural & Arts District, where they gained a better understanding of Ma Wan’s cultural heritage conservation, historical buildings, and artistic development.

Throughout the activity, parents and children were fully engaged and worked cooperatively. The workshop not only promoted mental well-being but also greatly enriched parent-child relationships. Parents agreed that the activity achieved its objectives and helped strengthen home-school collaboration. Many parents expressed strong interest in joining similar activities again in the future. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participating families, both PTAs, and the activity team for making this event a great success!

腦動無限・成果綻放 —— Think Big 課程成果展精彩回顧

本校「腦動 Think Big 課程成果展」已於2026年6月17日圓滿舉行，現場氣氛熱烈，精彩紛呈！

是次展覽全面呈現學生多元學習成果，涵蓋「奇妙的專題」、服務學習、生涯規劃、STEM、物聯網及機械人等豐富內容。「奇妙的專題」作為全校跨學科研習，按年級由個人與家庭、社區、香港，以至國家及世界議題，引導學生從興趣出發，主動探索，透過訪問、數據分析及成果展示，培養探究與解難能力。

展覽當日，學生表現自信投入，小小導賞員更以流利英語及粵語向來賓講解，盡顯學習成果與溝通能力！

衷心感謝各位家長及社區人士蒞臨支持，與我們一同見證學生的成長與突破！

Think Big, Shine Bright – Highlights of Our Curriculum Showcase

Our “Think Big” Curriculum Showcase was held on 17 June 2026, featuring an exciting display of students’ learning and creativity.

The showcase presented a rich variety of learning experiences, including “Amazing Projects”, service learning, career planning, STEM, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics. As a whole-school cross-curricular initiative, “Amazing Projects” engages students with themes ranging from “Self and Family” and “Community” to “Hong Kong”, “The Nation” and “The World”. Students explored topics of interest, conducted interviews, analysed data, and presented their findings, developing strong enquiry and problem-solving skills.

Students demonstrated confidence and enthusiasm throughout the event. Our student ambassadors impressed visitors by delivering presentations in fluent English and Cantonese, showcasing their strong communication skills.

We sincerely thank all parents and community members for their support in celebrating our students’ achievements and growth.

2025-2026年度六年級兩日一夜畢業教育營溫暖啟幕🎉！這是小六同學畢業前最後一次集體宿營，一班并肩六年的同窗好友，齊聚八鄉少訊中心，拋開學業煩憂，共度純粹又難忘的相聚時光。

一連兩日豐富暖心的活動，趣味警務體驗、團隊歷奇挑戰、整齊升旗與隊列訓練點綴整個旅程✨。同學們嘗試獨立自理、收拾營舍、互相照顧彼此，放下平日拘束，與身邊最熟悉的同學嬉笑閒聊、同心完成挑戰，滿滿歡笑環繞每一時刻。

歡樂的指模工作坊、刺激輕鬆的鐳射體驗、攜手突破的繩網歷奇、團隊解難遊戲；同住營舍、同桌用膳、相伴晨昏，點滴细碎的日常，都是小學最後一段最珍貴的同窗印記。

歡笑相伴，溫柔成長；兩日一夜短暫卻滿載溫暖📸 這場專屬小六的畢業營，珍藏六年朝夕相處的情誼，為純真小學歲月，留住最治愈、最動人的畢業美好回憶。

Leave textbooks behind, enjoy a warm graduation journey with best mates 💚

The 2025-2026 2-day 1-night P.6 Graduation Education Camp kicks off warmly🎉. It is the last collective camping trip for graduating Primary 6 students. Schoolmates who have accompanied each other for 6 years gather at Pat Heung JPC Centre, leaving school stress behind and sharing precious happy time together.

A variety of warm and fun activities are arranged, including police experience, team adventures, flag-raising and queue training✨. Students learn self-care, tidy dormitories and look after one another. They relax and laugh with close classmates, finishing team tasks side by side happily.

Fun fingerprint workshops, relaxing laser games, challenging rope courses and team puzzles; dormitory sharing and group meals record every tender moment. These warm bits become the most precious memories of 6-year primary school friendship.

Grow warmly with laughter and friendship📸 This exclusive graduation camp keeps all precious bonds and fond memories, finishing the innocent primary school journey perfectly for every graduate.

🌟 「2026 FUN FUN 體驗日」精彩回顧 🌟
感謝各位幼稚園家長與小朋友的熱情參與! 在2026年6月13日上午，本校舉行「AI 親子體驗課及英語探索」，當天校園充滿歡笑與驚喜。
我們的小小科學家們在 STEAM 室操控無人機、挖土機及參與「甲蟲編程」，探索科學與科技。然後，小朋友到英語樂園欣賞 Puppet Show ，並與外藉英語老師沉浸在閱讀世界。
AI 科技體驗更是精彩絕倫 —— 與小詩人互動、動感十足的 AI 運動，以至富挑戰性的問答比賽，小朋友們都玩得不亦樂乎!
此外，還有洗滌心靈的AI音樂時光、AI藝術之旅及親近大自然的種植體驗，讓大家動手又動腦，發揮創意。
這場集合英語、藝術及科技的探索之旅圓滿結束，期待下一次與您們見面!

🌟 Highlights of the "2026 FUN FUN Experience Day" 🌟
Thank you to all kindergarten parents and children for joining us! On the morning of June 13 2026, our school hosted the "AI Parent-Child Experience Class & English Exploration," filling the campus with joy.
🤖 STEAM Exploration: Our little scientists had a blast in the STEAM Room, operating drones and excavators, and exploring "Beetle Coding."
💡 English Wonderland: Children enjoyed a captivating Puppet Show and immersed themselves in reading with our Native English teachers.
💡 AI & Diverse Experiences: The AI activities were spectacular! From interacting with the AI Little Poet and trying AI Sports, to joining fun quizzes, everyone had a great time. Families also enjoyed AI Music, AI Art, and a hands-on Planting Experience that sparked everyone's creativity.
This wonderful journey of English, art, and tech has successfully concluded. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you next time!

中草藥種植計劃外遊學習活動精彩回顧 🌿📷

✨ 雨過天青，天主的眷顧悄悄降臨～石籬聖若望天主教小學的孩子，在6月13日踏進珠海，開啟了一場滿載驚喜的中華文化探險之旅🌏！

一開始的細雨，彷彿是天主給我們的小驚喜考驗，把圓明新園的行程悄悄換成了海韻城，卻意外收穫了更舒適的旅程節奏🌧️➡️☀️。

走進橫琴中醫藥文化體驗館，孩子們像小小探險家一樣，撫觸着古老的藥材、嗅聞着中草藥的清香，在中醫藥一條街裏尋找古人養生的祕密，更親手縫製了獨一無二的香囊，把千年的中醫智慧，縫進了小小的布袋裏💊🧵！全程學生們都全神貫注，每一雙眼睛都閃着好奇的光芒，同學之間互相分享發現、老師們溫柔陪伴，空氣裏都飄着融洽又溫暖的氣氛～

這趟旅程藏着天主的巧妙安排，也藏着孩子們對中華文化最真摯的熱愛，每一幀畫面，都是成長路上最閃亮的印記🌟！

Wonderful Review of the One-Day Mainland Study Tour on Traditional Chinese Medicine Herb Planting 🌿📷

✨ After the rain, the sky clears, and God’s gentle blessings quietly descend~ On June 13th, the children of Shek Lei St. John’s Catholic Primary School stepped into Zhuhai, embarking on a delightful Chinese cultural adventure full of surprises!🌏

The light rain at the beginning felt like a little surprise test from God. It quietly changed our original itinerary from the New Yuanming Garden to Haiyun City, yet we unexpectedly gained a more comfortable and enjoyable travel rhythm.🌧️➡️☀️

Upon entering the Hengqin Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Experience Hall, the children became little explorers. They touched ancient medicinal herbs, inhaled the fresh fragrance of Chinese herbs, and searched for the secrets of ancient health preservation along the Traditional Chinese Medicine Street. They even hand-sewed their own unique fragrant sachets, stitching a thousand years of Traditional Chinese Medicine wisdom into small cloth bags!💊🧵

Throughout the entire activity, every pair of eyes sparkled with curiosity. Students eagerly shared their discoveries with one another under the guidance of the teachers. The air was filled with a harmonious and heartwarming atmosphere ~

This journey carried God’s wonderful arrangements and the children’s most sincere love for Chinese culture. Every single frame has become the brightest milestone on their journey of growth!🌟

從課室走向未來　學生參與「氫」造城市設計比賽 以STEAM點燃創意
本校一直致力於拓展學生的STEAM學習視野，積極引入校外專業資源，讓學生走出課堂，接觸前沿科技。為提升學生對可再生能源及可持續發展的認識，並強化STEAM跨學科應用能力，本校學生早前參加由香港中華煤氣有限公司主辦的「煤氣綠火焰『氫』造城市設計比賽」。比賽以「氫能城市」為主題，鼓勵學生融合設計思維與科學原理，提出具前瞻性的城市能源規劃方案。
參賽同學除提交原創設計方案外，更獲大會安排參與系統性的學習體驗，包括「綠氫實驗工作坊」，親手操作水電解實驗，理解氫能發電的機制，並實地考察煤氣公司總部，了解該公司在氫能技術領域的最新研發成果及實際應用案例，進一步體會新能源對實現碳中和目標的關鍵角色。
參賽學生獲大會頒發參與證書，肯定其在比賽過程中的投入與學習表現。是次經驗不僅深化了他們對氫能科技的認識，更激發了對綠色工程及科學研究的濃厚興趣。煤氣公司為是次比賽提供了難得的實踐平台，學生能將課本知識應用於真實場景，並與業界專家交流，對其升學及職涯探索均有正面幫助。

From the Classroom to the Future: Students Join the “Hydrogen City” Design Competition and Spark Creativity through STEAM

Our students recently took part in the Towngas Green Flame “Hydrogen City” Design Competition, deepening their understanding of renewable energy and the role of hydrogen in building a sustainable future. Through the Green Hydrogen Experimental Workshop and a visit to Towngas headquarters, they gained valuable hands-on experience and explored real-world applications of hydrogen technology.

The competition also encouraged students to apply STEAM knowledge creatively, strengthening their problem-solving skills and inspiring interest in green engineering and scientific research. They were awarded certificates in recognition of their dedication and active participation.

Our school is committed to nurturing students’ holistic physical, mental and spiritual well-being, in line with this year’s themes of ‘Passion for Life’ and ‘Cherish Health’.
We are grateful to partner with the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and Johnson & Johnson in the "Sight For Kids" programme, providing vision screening and glasses for our students.
Today, our students received their new glasses, and their bright smiles say it all. With clearer vision, they can learn with greater confidence and embrace a brighter future!

叮咚——🚪！石籬聖若望天主教小學的「四社」小將們穿上運動服，變身「大白田西關愛隊」神秘隊員，與街坊來一場充滿歡笑的「跨世代密會」！
兩天的活動中，郭芙蓉議員特別到校為大家打氣。出發前，同學們在課室認真設計了訪問題目，怎料一進到基層家庭和長者家中，精心準備的「劇本」完全派不上用場，因為大家實在太熱情啦！❤️
看著同學們貼心遞上愛心福袋、蹲下身子陪長者和小朋友聊天，那一幕幕笑聲不斷的互動，完美融合了天主教的「關愛」與中華傳統文化的「仁愛」精神。大家用行動實踐「老吾老以及人之老」，真正做到「以愛還愛，彼此相愛」，將溫暖帶遍大白田西區（包括偉賢樓、葵星中心、葵涌大廈、名賢大樓及寶星中心）。

回到學校課室的總結會，同學們像開了水閘一樣，興奮地搶著分享：
「我那一組的婆婆十分厲害，一直把零食塞給我，還跟我們開玩笑！原來陪老人家聊天一點也不沉悶，他們的故事比卡通片還精彩呢！」
「還有那個跟我們差不多大的小朋友，收到禮物高興得直跳！那一刻我突然明白到什麼是『彼此相愛』，原來帶給別人快樂，自己心裡會有一股超強的力量！」
這次探訪讓小義工們親自解鎖了課本外的秘密——原來用行動幫助身邊的人，不只很有意義，還超級快樂、超級酷！😎 期待下一次，我們繼續用小小的腳步，散播大大的愛心！

🌟 【Small Steps, Big Impact! When Our "Four Houses" Little Volunteers Met the Lovely Elders of Tai Pak Tin West 🧓👵】
Ding-dong——🚪! Our energetic students from Shek Lei St. John’s Catholic Primary School "Four Houses" put on their sports uniforms and transformed into secret agents of the "Tai Pak Tin West Care Team" for a joy-filled "cross-generational rendezvous"!
During the two-day event, District Councilor Ms. Kwok Fu-yung came to cheer the students on! Before setting off, everyone in the classroom brainstormed interview questions with top-notch seriousness. Little did they know, once they stepped into the homes of local families and elders, their carefully prepared "scripts" were completely forgotten—because the residents were just so incredibly warm and welcoming! ❤️
From hand-delivering love-filled gift bags to crouching down to chat with the elders and kids, those precious moments beautifully integrated the core Catholic value of "Care" with the traditional Chinese virtue of "Benevolence" (Ren Ai). Putting "respecting others' elders as our own" into practice, the students beautifully demonstrated the spirit of "returning love for love, and loving one another" across the community (including Wai Yin House, Kwai Sing Centre, Kwai Chung Building, Ming Yin Building, and Po Sing Centre).

🎤 Little Volunteers' Debriefing Highlights!
Back in the cla, the students could barely hold back their excitement, eagerly sharing their discoveries:
"The granny in my group was amazing! She kept showering us with snacks and cracking jokes. Chatting with elders isn't boring at all—their stories are way cooler than cartoons!"
"Yeah! And the kid who was around our age was jumping for joy when he received our gifts. That was the exact moment I truly understood what 'loving one another' means. Bringing joy to others gives you a huge burst of inner energy!"
This visit allowed our little volunteers to unlock a major secret—putting love into action to help our neighbors is not only deeply meaningful, but it's also a genuinely cool and rewarding experience! 😎 We can't wait for our next adventure to keep spreading love through our small but mighty steps!
