During today’s morning assembly, our school community gathered to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our talented students! Certificates and a trophy were presented by our Principal and teachers to honor their dedication and hard work 🌟🏅.

With great creativity and community spirit, our students were awarded the “Breakthrough Achievement Award” at the 1st Creative Fair 2026 for their innovative project: First Cross-Language AI Choir Elderly Service 🏆🤖❤️! Students involved also received official Certificates of Completion for the “AI-Signer | Elderly & Youth Together Unleashed Potential” initiative 📜✨.

By combining technology with empathy, our students used AI to bridge generations and bring warmth and joy to the elderly—a perfect demonstration of innovation, compassion, and community service 💡🤝!

🔔 【First Morning Assembly of the School Year! A Bright Start Full of Wisdom and Warmth 🎒✨🌱】

Though yesterday’s (September 1st) morning assembly was postponed due to rain 🌧️☔, our excitement remained undiminished! Today, all teachers and students gathered together for a wonderfully energetic and inspiring first morning assembly of the new academic year 🎉👏!

Our Principal warmly welcomed all returning students back to campus 🏫❤️ and extended a heartfelt welcome to all our new faces 🌟. Through an engaging Q&A interaction, the Principal introduced our STREAM learning initiative 🤖💡🔬, sparking everyone’s curiosity and enthusiasm. The Principal also shared insights from the book Yellowface 📚✨, encouraging students to embrace the value of honesty and treat everyone around them with kindness and empathy ❤️😊.

Adding to the excitement, our Vice Principal introduced the school's brand-new facility—the freshly installed turf carpet 🌱⚽, creating an even vibrant and enjoyable outdoor space for our students! The Vice Principal also took the opportunity to present our newly joined teachers as well as our entire dedicated teaching staff to the school community 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫✨.

🔔 【Happy First Day of School! A New Academic Year Begins ❤️🎒✨】

Today marks September 1st, our long-awaited first day of school! Although the morning rain prevented us from holding our outdoor morning assembly 🌧️☔, our Flag Raising Ceremony went ahead as scheduled with great dignity and solemnity 🇨🇳✨. Kudos to our flag squad for their dedication! 👏😊

To spread warm encouragement, our Principal, Dr. Claudia, paid a special visit to every classroom across both Primary and Kindergarten sections! 🏫💖 She gave a warm welcome back to all students, checked in on their first-day routines, and took lovely class photos with teachers and students to capture these precious opening moments 📸😊❤️.

Seeing our students back on campus in their neat uniforms with bright smiles brought so much joy and energy to the St. Johannes community! We wish all of our students a wonderful, fruitful, and joyful school year ahead! 🎉🥳🌟

On August 24 and 25, we were thrilled to welcome our new Primary 1 students and parents with big smiles and warm hearts to the St. Johannes family! 😊❤️

🎒 Student Activity Highlights:

🦁 Interactive Icebreakers: Students played engaging "Animal Charades" to break the ice and build wonderful new friendships filled with laughter! 😊

🎨 Fun Classroom Learning: Guided by our dedicated teachers, students practiced spatial awareness by drawing geometric circles, learned color recognition, and explored everyday school objects through hands-on worksheets! 🖍️✨

🏫 Campus Discovery: Guided tours helped students familiarize themselves with their new classroom environments and school facilities for an exciting new start! 🎒🌟

Following the Education Bureau's (EDB) official release of The Private School List on 29 July 2026, we are pleased to share that St. Johannes College is included among the featured schools!

The List features private schools that offer formal primary and secondary curricula and have met key standards in school governance, compliance, and student welfare set by the EDB.

We are happy to provide parents with this additional point of reference as they make important decisions for their children's educational journey.

🌟 Pure Talent! Highlights from This Morning's Variety Show! ✨

Our campus stage was buzzing with incredible energy and excitement this morning as our talented students took the stage for our annual Variety Show! 🎤💃

From mesmerizing musical solos—including soulful saxophone melodies, heartfelt violin tunes, and elegant piano performances—to energetic, well-choreographed dance routines, every single performer shined brightly and showed immense confidence. 🎶👏

The show concluded with a wonderful presentation ceremony, where principal presented medals to recognize the students' hard work and brilliant dedication. Seeing all those proud, beaming smiles in the grand group photo truly warmed our hearts! 🏅❤️

A huge round of applause to all our performers, and a special thank you to the teachers and staff who made this memorable, talent-filled morning possible!
