🌟Reflecting on "Youth Day" this past May 4th, although the morning assembly speech was cancelled due to inclement weather, the passion of St. Johannes College students and staff to commemorate this day remained undiminished. The day was marked by a solemn and respectful Flag Raising Ceremony.

Following the ceremony, students returned to their classrooms to delve into the history of this significant day that began in 1919 through reading and discussion. This is more than just a day to remember the brave university students who pursued science and knowledge over a century ago; it is a reminder that regardless of age, everyone’s voice and actions can spark real change.

The "May 4th Spirit" represents the courage to speak up and the passion to build a better world. We encourage our students that even at a young age, as long as they maintain curiosity and a love for learning, they can harness their youthful energy to bring positive change to the world. Seeing everyone focused and diligently completing their worksheets in class, we believe the dream of progress has already taken root in their hearts.

⚽【Growth on the Pitch: Football Extra-Curricular Activity Success!】⚽

Yesterday marked the final session of our Football ECA for this school year! Over the past 10 weeks, our 8 dedicated young players gathered every Monday after school for an hour of intensive and energetic training. 🏃‍♂️💨

A huge thank you to the coaches from the Young Talent Football Team for providing professional and engaging guidance. From fundamental ball control and passing to advanced shooting skills, our students were fully committed to every drill and match.

Beyond individual skills, the most valuable lesson learned was the power of Teamwork. It has been inspiring to see them grow from individuals into a cohesive unit, supporting one another on the field. This sportsmanship is truly the greatest achievement of all! 🌟

We look forward to seeing our players back on the pitch in the future, continuing to chase their football dreams!

Following a refreshing Easter break, our campus was buzzing with energy and joy once again as students returned yesterday (April 13)!

On the first day back, students gathered with great discipline for our solemn Flag-Raising Ceremony. Watching the national flag rise under the morning sun marked a fresh start, as everyone prepared to dive back into their studies with renewed spirit.

⛱️ Campus Upgrades for a Better Environment
To enhance our students' outdoor experience, we have installed new sun umbrellas at the playground tables during the holiday. Students can now enjoy their breaks and lunch in a much more shaded and comfortable setting. Furthermore, we are taking steps toward a "Green Campus"—plans are underway to install solar panels on the rooftop to create a more sustainable and eco-friendly learning environment!

A particularly heartwarming highlight today was our "Lunch with the Principal" session! It was wonderful to see the Principal chatting with students, listening to their holiday stories, and encouraging them to keep exploring and striving for excellence in the term ahead.

On April 1st, 2026, our dedicated team of educators gathered for an enriching Professional Development Day focused on two critical pillars of modern education: Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Assessment Literacy. Led by Principal Dr. Claudia, this workshop was a dynamic blend of insight, collaboration, and practical application.

The day wasn’t just about theories; it was about active participation and deepening our shared understanding. Our staff dove headfirst into understanding "Assessment at a Glance," exploring how different types of assessment can enhance teaching and drive student growth. The energy in the room was palpable as teachers worked in groups, mind-mapping ideas, and sharing best practices.

A Week of STEM Magic at SJC! 🌟🔬
Looking back, we had an incredible STEM Week (Mar 23rd - Mar 27th)! The energy was electric, and the enthusiasm for discovery was inspiring to see.

One of the many highlights was the Climate Change iPad Activity where our students delved deep into understanding this critical global issue. With iPads in hand, they explored dynamic content and tackled challenges that brought environmental awareness to life.

It was wonderful to see students from all grades collaborating, with older students guiding their younger peers, fostering a true spirit of shared learning. Our young environmentalists brainstormed solutions, showing incredible curiosity and creativity.

STEM Week isn’t just about the activities, but the spark of curiosity it ignites in our future problem-solvers. We're so proud of all our students for their incredible engagement! We can't wait to see what amazing things they'll achieve with their newfound knowledge and skills!
